Bills agree to terms with LB Thomas

‘Whether Buffalo is done addressing the linebacker position with respect to free agency remains to be seen. Free agents Cato June, Freddie Keiaho and Jamie Winborn have all visited One Bills Drive this spring.’

T.O. deal gets mayor’s stamp of approval

‘The fans wanted to see some out-of-the-box thinking. They wanted to see some real creativity and some real aggressiveness in the free-agent market. That’s what the Bills have done. It’s really exciting the fans. People are pretty pumped up. It’s also going to translate into putting more people in the stands for the Bills.’

Bills should scuttle thoughts of Cutler

‘The Bills have already taken on Owens; do they really want a complainer throwing to an agitator? It’s a connection they don’t need.’

Lynch sees suspension on the way

‘”I’ve never been a real big vocal guy to come out and speak on the things I do positively or negatively, but like I said, it’s time for a change for me. So after the meeting with the commissioner, like I said, it kind of sunk in to me and I felt this was the next step to letting you guys know that there will be a change.”‘

Legislature passes resolution in support of Buffalo Bills

‘The resolution specifies that Niagara County supports keeping the team in Erie County and wants to work with Erie County in any effort to keep the team from moving. However, the resolution still says that if the Bills decide to move, the Niagara County Legislature favors placing them in Niagara County.’

Bills sign linebacker Thomas

‘Thomas started the first nine games of last season at middle linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs. He was a backup the rest of the season. However, he’s probably better suited to an outside position than middle linebacker. Thomas, a 6-foot-1, 237-pounder, was a solid special teams player for the Chiefs.’

Bills back Lynch expects suspension

‘"It was, for me, a productive meeting," Lynch said. "I got a lot of insight out of it from Commissioner Goodell, and something that he stressed throughout that meeting was that he will not tolerate any more screw-ups by me, so I think that’s sinking in to me." The Bills can only hope.’

Lynch claims he gets the message this time

‘"The message that he gave to me came through," Lynch said Wednesday in a transcript released by the Bills. "I can still feel some of the words running through my body right now as he said them in the meeting."’
