‘McNally, a native of Buffalo, was hired by Jack Lengyel to be his line coach after the University at Buffalo dropped football, putting McNally in search of a new job. McNally, who went on to coach in three Super Bowls, said that nothing in his coaching career compares to his four seasons at Marshall.’

‘Losman has significantly improved in his first full season as Buffalo’s QB. I’m not ready to elevate him to elite status, but he has done enough to soar to 13th in my ratings and he’s a major reason why the Bills should contend for a playoff berth next season.’

‘In a stagnant economy, some people in Western New York have been attending more Sabres games and fewer Bills games. The Sabres have sold out all 16 home games this season. Capacity is 18,690. Through 16 home games last year, the average crowd was 15,882.’

‘But in the back of his mind, Henry knew the clock was ticking. In 2004, with a new coaching staff in Buffalo and McGahee getting closer to 100 percent healthy, Henry felt himself being pushed aside. ‘The coaches that drafted me, they weren’t there,” Henry said. “And (the new coaches) started playing mind games with me. They were telling me I was still the starter, but I wasn’t starting. They were telling me I wasn’t healthy, that I was hurt, and I was like, ‘I’d played through this before.’ I was fine.”’

‘The matchup will require the Titans offense to grind it out. That means Bills exile Travis Henry’s number will be on speed dial today. Since Week 4, the Titans have averaged 158.3 yards on the ground.’

‘Henry has been solid, too, with five 100-yard rushing games since starting in Game 5. He leads the team with seven TDs. He is running as well as he did in Buffalo. “It feels good, man, considering what kind of card I got dealt there,” Henry said.’
