Gates Enjoying Extra Reps

‘”We encourage Willis (McGahee) to get here and we would love to have him but since he’s not it’s an opportunity for me, Shaud (Williams) and Anthony (Thomas) to get some more reps to show the coach that we can be dependable if Willis does go down,” said Gates. “Hopefully he doesn’t but we’re showing them that we are dependable running backs.”‘

Parrish doesn’t want to be forgotten man in receiver rotation

‘"I can’t worry about who they brought in," Parrish said following the team’s voluntary minicamp on Wednesday. "The only thing I have to think about are the things that I can take care of, and that’s going out on the field and performing the best that I can. The best man will get the job." That job will be one of the two slots behind top receiver Lee Evans. Along with newcomers Price and Davis, veterans Parrish and Josh Reed will all be behind Evans on the depth chart. The question is, what will the pecking order be?’

‘Ward, listed at 6 feet and 200 pounds, sat out the 2005 season after spending time on the rosters of Kansas City and Oakland. In college he played for the University of California.’

4th Annual Hunter’s Hope Candlelight Ball is July 28

‘The Kelly’s were in Rochester Tuesday morning to share details of the 4th Annual Hunter’s Hope Candlelight Ball. The gala raises money and awareness about the disease. It will be the first candlelight ball without the their son Hunter.’
