‘The Broncos will run all over the Bills, and win 23-14.’

‘”I think anytime he’s not in there, he’s missing valuable experience,” Mularkey said. “Even with the situation last week, I think every rep was good. Even though I didn’t feel like we took a step (forward) like we had been the previous weeks, it would make him take a step back if we can’t get him back in there.”‘

‘”Anybody would like to have Eric Moulds back or on their football team. He’s a very good receiver,” Mularkey said. “I don’t know what Eric’s plans are, what our plans are, at any position on our team. What’s happening with us record-wise, there will be some changes, and I understand that. I don’t know at what positions yet, we’ll see where we are at when this is all said and done.”‘

‘”To a man, our players and coaches would say that, too,” Donahoe said. “I’m not going to denigrate all the players on this team because of one bad loss. That’s not fair to do. When we get to the end of this season, you have to sit down and evaluate just exactly where we are, who’s good enough and who’s not good enough, and what changes we have to make going forward.”‘

‘”It is not a destination that you put high on your rankings, but we know we have to go into a tough place and play,” Denver quarterback Jake Plummer said. “We know what to expect. We expect it to be cold, snow and nasty. If we get a nice day, we caught a break, but you have to expect the worst.”‘

‘”I’d rather face Losman any day,” Broncos defensive end Ebenezer Ekuban said. “A young quarterback is going to make more mistakes than a veteran, savvy quarterback. Even though (Losman) can run, I’d still rather face him. And Kelly Holcomb, he loves the hard count, man. He can hard count with the best of them. That’s going to be a big part of their game plan, you can believe that.”‘

‘”Those types of situations, if you’ve been playing for a long time, they happen. They happen to every team,” Buffalo quarterback J.P. Losman said. “Throughout your career, one of your star players is going to get in trouble or get suspended for some reason or get sick or get hurt and you’ve got to learn how to play without that person.”‘

‘”I wish we were playing (J.P.) Losman,” Ekuban said.’

‘J.P. Losman underwent an M.R.I. on his throwing shoulder yesterday, and sat out his second straight practice today. Head coach Mike Mularkey said the tests were negative.’

‘"I’m looking forward to it," said Holcomb. "It’s a prime time game and you’re the only game on. I think everybody is looking forward to it. We need to go out and do some good things."’

‘Losman watched the team practice inside Ralph Wilson Stadium in subfreezing temperatures. It’s not clear when he was hurt against the Patriots, but he was sacked twice and knocked down numerous times by a blitz-happy Patriots defense.’

‘The main reason Losman’s injury could be a problem is because it stunts his development. He has an opportunity to get one more start under his belt this week against a team with a very good secondary. If Losman is unable to play, this Saturday’s game will be somewhat pointless for the 4-9 Bills. If Losman sits this Saturday night, Bills fans at sold-out Ralph Wilson Stadium can expect a relatively bland offensive gameplan that relies on short passes. There won’t be any game breaking from the Bills in this game. Either way, the Buffalo Bills’ chances of winning this football game against an elite Broncos team are slim and nil.’
