‘New Orleans hasn’t played any team fewer times that was in the league when the club began play.’

‘"We’ve just got to be able to score points," said receiver Eric Moulds. "It’s good to get in the red zone, get three points here and there. But you’ve got to score touchdowns eventually. We’ve scored, what, one or two?"’

‘Bills right tackle Greg Jerman is likely to make his second career start at right tackle. Starter Mike Williams was not able to practice Friday and remains questionable. Coach Mike Mularkey said Williams’ status will be a game-time decision. Jerman likely will see each of the Saints’ three defensive ends during the game. The Saints rotate their defensive ends along all four spots on the defensive line in passing situations.’

‘Miller is the former vice president/administration for the Buffalo Bills. He held similar posts with the Chicago Bears and New Orleans Saints. But after 20 years of walking the front-office halls of the NFL, after two decades of contracts and salary caps, he returned to New Orleans two years ago in search of something more noble, teaching at the University of New Orleans and helping his wife, Jean, a native of the city, open a business selling women’s active wear.’

‘”We started off on a high note and we’ve just kind of gotten into a funk here,” Losman said this week. “I’ve just got to go out there and play and throw the ball like I know how to with some authority, throw it with some confidence, not trying to be too perfect, trying to aim the ball a little bit, trying not to miss as opposed to just throwing it and having that confidence to know that you’re not going to miss and if you do miss, oh well, just get it the next play.”‘
