‘More than 350 guests are expected to attend the 2nd Annual Taste of Trenton fundraiser hosted by Buffalo Bills safety Troy Vincent and his wife, Tommi Vincent, both longtime philanthropists and community leaders. The event serves to deepen Vincent’s commitment to develop and sustain a strategic approach to community building that impacts whole neighborhoods by creating opportunities for positive social and economic change. The 2nd Annual Taste of Trenton event will be held Monday, September 26, 2005 from 7 to 10:30 pm at the Trenton Marriott at Lafayette Yard in Trenton, New Jersey.’

‘The Saints will play Buffalo on Oct. 2 and Atlanta on Oct. 16 at 1 p.m. EDT in the Alamodome in San Antonio.’

‘New this season, every fan entering Ralph Wilson Stadium will be subject to a "pat-down" search in an effort to assure a safe and enjoyable game-day experience. Also, in an effort to expedite entrance to the stadium, the Bills and TicketMaster have partnered to scan tickets instead of tear tickets through the use of bar-code scanning devices.’

‘Mularkey said Milloy had surgery to repair a thumb injury suffered in Sunday’s game at Tampa Bay. Milloy was wearing a cast on his right thumb and hand to protect what is believed to be a fracture of the thumb. Mularkey said Milloy could wear protective padding on the cast in the game. Milloy did not miss a play despite the injury in Tampa.’

‘In 1979 he was asked by old UK staff (61-62) coach, Chuck Knox, to come scout for the Buffalo Bills full time. He has been listed on the Bills website and information booklet as College Scout Emeritus. He was still active watching his beloved Bills play as late as last Sunday.’

‘The fact that Vincent, a five-time Pro Bowl player who has also received numerous awards for his charitable and humanitarian work, is a spokesman for All Pro Dad certainly doesn’t hurt. “It’s incredibly important to have a good spokesman and a good role model speak out on the issues of fatherhood,” Merrill said. “Professional athletes are all role models, whether they think they are or not. They’re either good role models or bad role models. Troy Vincent is neither. He’s an incredible role model.”‘

‘How much was the heat a factor in the Bills performance at Tampa?

Josh Reed: It was pretty hot but I guess us being professionals we have to adjust better. For me, being from the south, I actually kind of liked it.’
