‘So, how will it unfold for Woodbury? He’s a long shot to make the team as a backup quarterback behind Losman, Kelly Holcomb and Shane Matthews, although Woodbury is a tremendous athlete with a strong arm and a long wind-up on his throws that calls to mind the Saints’ Aaron Brooks. Woodbury took a few snaps Saturday in the Bills’ win over the Green Bay Packers and completed his only pass for 4 yards.’

‘The Saugerties native, who is 6-foot-6, 315 pounds, had been relegated to third-string duties at the Bills’ training camp in Pittsford.’

‘Bills’ backup tight end Tim Euhus is expected to miss Buffalo’s final two preseason games because of a chest injury.’

‘Tight end Tim Euhus and lineman Ross Tucker were among the players that didn’t participate Monday. Euhus has a strained pectoral muscle and has already been ruled out for the team’s third preseason game Friday in Chicago. Tucker is expected to return to practice, which could be as early as Tuesday.’

‘You may have been asking yourself this, after watching Saturday’s game… “what got into Rian Lindel?” The Bills veteran kicker is not known for his strong leg. But he hit one 54-yard field goal against the Packers and just missed another one wide to the right. Lindell says he made a slight adjustment in his set up last week that accounts for his new-found range.’

‘"I guess as the years have gone by, it’s always going to be a pressure situation, but I just have to focus on the task at hand and focus on the fact that it’s a marathon and not a sprint so I am just going to go out there and take everyday one day at a time one play at a time," Haddad explained.’

‘It’s the second time Pruce has failed to make the team. The Bills also waived him prior to the 2003 season. Originally signed by Baltimore in 2002, Pruce was waived by the Ravens before that season and has also failed attempts to play with New England and Houston.’

‘The Bills have until August 30th for their first cut down, but they decided to make six of the cuts today.’

‘The Bills today announced that the team has waived DT LaWaylon Brown, OL Geir Gudmundsen, DB Daniel Leger, WR Will Peoples, OL David Pruce, and DB Marvin Ward.’

‘If you could play any other position what position would you play?

"Something that touches the football, considering I haven’t touched the football in awhile. I played a little center in high school and college. Maybe playing tight end, I think that would be something I’ve always wanted to do."’

‘This is a good Bills team, especially on defense. And we know that Willis McGahee can run the ball. But if Losman struggles, all that will matter little. Losman is athletic and has the arrogance you like from the position, but until we see him do it in the regular season this team is a big question mark.’
