Bills, Packers scrimmage at sold-out Lambeau Field

‘There just wasn’t much offense on either side.’

Bills Dominate Pack in Scrimmage

‘But make no mistake, the Bills dominated the scrimmage on both sides of the ball, from the first unit down to the final reserves.’

Hunter Kelly Leaves Ongoing Legacy

‘Let’s not forget either, Jim has one heck of a teammate in wife Jill, who has proven to any doubters she is far deeper than the stereotypical beautiful blonde some might associate with an NFL star. Without ever meaning for it to happen, Jill became an articulate and passionate media star in her own right, often making personal appearances Jim couldn’t make without their message missing a beat.’

Hunter Kelly Was ‘So Tough’

‘”He’s taking it pretty tough, that’s his little buddy. It’s just not natural for a parent to outlive their children. Obviously this is a tough day for him.”‘

Mularkey Pleased with First Joint Practice

‘”I think we got a lot of good work,” head coach Mike Mularkey said at the conclusion of the joint workout. “We had a number of different sessions, the blitz, the inside run, and a simulated team period. We got a lot of things done and I liked the way we finished the practice. That was important because it was about as close to a game simulation as you can have.”‘

Bills extend invite for next season

‘”They’re welcome to come to our place next year,” Donahoe said. “We’ll invite them right now.”‘

Corey Simon: His demands keep Birds from dealing him

‘A report in the Trenton Times on Friday said the Buffalo Bills are among the teams interested in Simon, but Eagles president Joe Banner said yesterday that the Eagles had not heard from them.’

The Kelly’s sorrow became a public crusade to raise awareness and money for Krabbe disease

‘"Back when my son was born there was no treatment, now there is. "When we started realizing that there are children like Hunter that were diagnosed early enough and they were walking, talking and smiling I can see that every year you see the quality of life they have."’

Hunter Kelly, Son of Jim & Jill Kelly, Dies

‘He was the longest-living sufferer of infantile Krabbe disease.’

Bills, Pataki Send Condolences To Kelly Family

‘Governor Pataki says "it was Jim and Jim Kelly who last year, along with other parents of ill children, helped New York State establish the most comprehensive free newborn screening in the nation. Later this year, New York will be the first state in the nation to add the recently developed test for Krabbe Disease to its newborn screening program."’

Hunter Kelly, 8, Dies

‘There will be no public calling hours prior to a public memorial service, which is scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wesleyan Church of Hamburg, Erie County. A link to the church’s web site is found below.’

Jim Kelly’s son passes away

‘"It’s been written that the trademark of my career was toughness," Jim Kelly said in 2002. "The toughest person I ever met in my life was my son, my hero, Hunter. I love you, buddy."’

Statement Regarding Passing of Hunter Kelly

‘The Bills encourage everyone to keep Hunter’s legacy alive with the support of Hunter’s Hope, which has made tremendous strides through the tireless efforts of Jim and Jill, and others in the attempt to find a cure for Krabbe’s disease.’

Son of Jim Kelly passes away

‘The foundation, which was formed in 1997, has raised more than $6 million and awarded more than $3.8 million in grants for research related to curing Krabbe Disease. Kelly has become a national spokesman, advocating for further medical research about the disease.’
