He’s a long shot to make the team as a backup quarterback behind Losman, Kelly Holcomb and Shane Matthews, although Woodbury is a tremendous athlete with a strong arm and a long wind-up on his throws that calls to mind the Saints’ Aaron Brooks. Woodbury took a few snaps Saturday in the Bills’ win over the Green Bay Packers and completed his only pass for 4 yards.’

‘Tight end Tim Euhus and lineman Ross Tucker were among the players that didn’t participate Monday. Euhus has a strained pectoral muscle and has already been ruled out for the team’s third preseason game Friday in Chicago. Tucker is expected to return to practice, which could be as early as Tuesday.’
‘You may have been asking yourself this, after watching Saturday’s game… “what got into Rian Lindel?” The Bills veteran kicker is not known for his strong leg. But he hit one 54-yard field goal against the Packers and just missed another one wide to the right. Lindell says he made a slight adjustment in his set up last week that accounts for his new-found range.’
