At 32, Moulds isn’t letting age slow down his game

‘At age 32, the second-leading receiver in Bills history shows no signs of slowing down. “I really believe I can play five or six more years,” says Moulds, who has three years remaining on his contract. “And I’d love nothing better than to be one of those rare guys who spends his entire career with the same organization. That’s my goal.”‘

University of Miami has become draft-pick central

‘Good players come from all over, but in talking with pro scouts and personnel men, one gets the distinct feeling that if they were forced to pick only one school for replenishing their cupboards, Miami would be it.’

Biffle, Waltrip, Kelly to sign at Race Fever

‘The itinerary is set for this year’s Race Fever on Bridge Street in Corning, set for Aug. 11. NASCAR Nextel Cup drivers Greg Biffle and Michael Waltrip will be signing autographs, along with Busch Series driver Randy LaJoie and Hall of Fame NFL quarterback Jim Kelly, the part owner of the Busch Series No. 84 Kellogg’s car.’

Overachiever

‘He helped the Seahawks to a playoff berth in 1984, then was traded to Buffalo, where he would play in four consecutive Super Bowls, catching a touchdown in Super Bowl XXVI against the Washington Redskins. Unfortunately for Metzelaars and his teammates, the Bills lost the game, as well as the other three Super Bowls they advanced to. “At that point, we were down pretty far so it was somewhat anti-climactic. But at the same time, its like ‘I scored a touchdown in the Super Bowl.’ I got the ball at home and it’s painted up. It’s something I’ll always remember – pretty special even though it was when it was in the game.”‘

Don Beebe bringing speed camp to Freeport

‘”(Beebe) sat down and talked about how speed comes into play,” said Schlamp, who attended the camp in Libertyville the summer before his senior season. “Size matters, but if you have that little extra speed, it helps.”‘

Bills Players to Sign Autographs

‘The Bills have announced today that the team has scheduled full team autograph sessions prior to its night practices on Saturday, July 30 and Monday, August 15.’
