‘Kayleen Follman is one of three finalists in “O Say Can You Sing,” a contest whose winner will sing the national anthem at the first Buffalo Bills game of the season. Follman, 17, was discovered by a Bills public relations representative at a Loyals game. She said the team was playing at a field near the Bills stadium, and the representative happened to be nearby. “He told me he enjoyed my performance and told me about the auditions,” the Lyndonville senior said.’

‘Indian Hills Golf Club hosted the inaugural Kelly Holcomb Celebrity Golf Tournament Friday, benefiting the Child Development Center of Lincoln County and The United Way of Rutherford County. Twenty-five celebrities came out to support Holcomb including pro players Marcus Pollard, Bradford Banta, Andy Kelly, Rocky Calmus, Hate Hybl, Chris Sanders and Matthew Tant. Holcomb knew having a tournament would be hard work, but had no idea how hard the celebrity part of the tournament would be.’

‘Chris Kelsay, who has earned rave reviews from the Bills, has also become a fan favorite in the Buffalo area. He and his wife, Natalie, love the area and are looking forward to their first child being born in Buffalo this winter. Buffalo papers have often cited how much he has contributed to the team. "Buffalo is a lot like Lincoln," Kelsay said. "If you work hard, play hard and try to get better, people appreciate the effort. The Buffalo fans are serious about their football and they’ll love you if you win and get really down if you lose."’
