‘Once again the Bills Backers Germany met with Bills allocated quarterback Kevin Thompson, this time after his second win in as many games. Kevin scored two rushing touchdowns, had three scrambles for first downs, and was not picked off in a 23-10 victory over the Rhein Fire. Here’s what Kevin said after the game.’

‘"I’ve always been of the opinion that we don’t need a new stadium in Buffalo, we can’t afford it," Wilson told the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle. "We can’t afford $150,00 suites; they would all be empty. We can’t afford to charge $60 for a ticket; we wouldn’t have 25,000 people in the stands. We have to tailor our prices to what the market can afford. So far, we’ve been able to do that (and remain competitive)."’

‘Following the departure of Jonas Jennings, Mike Williams might switch to the left side. Either way, Mike Gandy isn’t the answer as a starter. The Bills need someone who can step in and play on the left or right side.’

‘Donahoe hasn’t closed the door on pulling off a deal in order to get back into the first round. But while the urge to resist such a move will be like a ball bearing running from a magnet, it’s very likely the Bills will stand pat, content to sip coffee and plot second-round strategy for most of the day. One big reason is the overall talent pool.’

‘With coach Bobby April we can come to the sideline and tell him what we are seeing and he’ll make adjustments quickly. He’ll take your opinion into account. He’ll let us change things on the field. There were a couple of times in games where Crowell and I just started crossing on kickoffs just to mess up the double teams. He doesn’t mind you adlibbing a bit but don’t mess up. He’s awesome at putting you on the right match up with a guy that is similar in height, weight, strength, and speed.’

‘There is talk of moving C Trey Teague to left tackle. Regardless, the Bills have to start thinking about a successor at center. The Bills love versatile linemen, so Michigan’s David Baas would be a great pick in the second round. Baas is a tough and technically sound player with experience at center and guard.’
