Bills Watch Bledsoe

‘Coach Gregg Williams says the Bills will work Bledsoe out on Tuesday to help determine if he’s ready to practice on Wednesday.’

Bledsoe Feeling Better After 2nd Concussion In Two Weeks

‘Jonas Jennings has a new injury. He hurt his toe and is having more tests.’

Oh oh: Williams in 2004?

‘Get this straight. I’m not saying this SHOULD happen, but it most certainly COULD happen.’

Giant Win Answers A Few Questions

‘Sunday did emphasize what I’ve believed all along. Drew Bledsoe is not as bad as this recent stretch. Put in the right situation, he can still complete passes and move the offense. The Bills can still win with Drew. They just need to improve the pieces around Bledsoe, including their offensive coordinator.’

Bledsoe feeling better after helmet-to-helmet hit

‘Williams said Bledsoe is scheduled to work out on Tuesday to determine whether he can practice once the team returns to the field on Wednesday to prepare for this weekend’s home game against the New York Jets.’

Williams upbeat after Bills finally win

”’It’s something that’s well deserved,” Williams said of the additional day of rest. ”I’ve been wanting to do that for quite a while. … It was nice to be able to throw a bone as a coach and say, ‘Job well done.””

No quitting for the Bills

‘Well, we know which team has packed it in for the season. It was hard to tell coming in.’

Where have these Bills been all year?

‘”All we can do the last four games is go out and show what we can do.”‘

Bledsoe, Bills end road scoring drought

‘It was Moore’s first TD reception of the season … tying him with starting wide receivers Eric Moulds and Josh Reed.’

The Day After: Gregg Williams Comments

‘”They are prideful men. They know that there are a lot of things that happen in the month of December every single year. There are teams that rise out of the month of December and get back in the hunt. We have to be very physical in this month of December. We’ve got some pretty good opponents coming up through this month and we’ve got to play much better against the Jets at home this week.”‘

St. Francis High’s Jerry Smith Named Bills HS Football

‘Jerry Smith, veteran head football coach at St. Francis HS has been named the winner of the seventh annual Buffalo Bills Western New York HS Football “Coach of the Year” Award for the 2003 season. Smith will be honored at ceremonies held Sunday, December 7 prior to the Bills-NY Jets game at Ralph Wilson Stadium.’

Buffalo belatedly gets its act together

‘The win isn’t going to save any jobs, and Buffalo remains all but eliminated from a postseason berth, trailing Miami by three games with four to play for the final wild-card berth.’
