Anticipation for the 2003 season has been building throughout the offseason among Bills fans and that excitement reached another level this past weekend when the team sold more than 600 new season tickets at its Select-A-Seat event held last Saturday at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

Running back Ken Simonton became just the third player in the history of the NFLEL to record three consecutive 100-yard rushing games, recording 132 yards on 16 carries. To add to his already outstanding day, Simonton recorded six receptions for 61 yards.

The Buffalo Bills are searching for outstanding high school students for our newest program, Buffalo Bills Student Leaders. This program is designed to provide students with unique experiences that will develop leadership skills in preparation for their continuing education. It is open to students who will be juniors or seniors as of September 2003.

Talley was a two time Pro Bowler and is second on the all time tackles list. The LB played 12 seasons in Buffalo which covered 188 games. That’s 5th All-time behind Andre Reed, Smith, Jim Richter and Joe Devlin.

The most impressive of the pro sophomores might have been Kevin Thomas, who was also impressive over the last quarter of his rookie season. There’s a long way to go and Titans free agent Dainon Sidney was also impressive, but Thomas seems to have a jump on the nickel back job.
