Buffalo added five new coaches this offseason.

Merceda Perry, a LB out of UNC Chapel Hill, who the Bills signed on January 24th and allocated to NFL Europe had 4 sacks in a game condition scrimmage for the Barcelona Dragons.

‘"The difference is in the takeaway-giveaway ratio. Tell me who had the most takeaways in a game, and I can tell you the likely winner." The Bills had 19 takeaways in each of the past two seasons. They finished in the bottom five of NFL takeaway-giveaway ratio in both years.’

‘Adams is the run-plugger who will keep the blockers off Fletcher and Spikes. He automatically would make Pat Williams better.’

Since the free agency gates were opened on February 28, the Buffalo Bills President and General Manager has orchestrated a number of roster moves that have raised the level of excitement and anticipation among Bills backers everywhere.

The NFL Coaching Internship Program is a joint effort of the NFL and the NFL Players Association. This year’s participants include two former Bills:

‘The Bills, however, are usually the top TV draw in the area. So Channel 7 should at least be able to do much better in the ratings with the Bills than they would do by carrying ABC’s summer schedule of prime-time shows.’

Cornerback Alex Molden (San Diego) is the latest free agent to visit the Bills. Molden, a first-round pick by the New Orleans Saints in 1996, played two years for the Chargers before the team released him this year.

‘Molden’s agent is Angelo Wright, who is trying to reach an agreement with the Bills and another client, Pro Bowl defensive tackle Sam Adams.’
