The Bills and United Parcel Service will be hosting a pair of events as part of Hit the Books, The UPS – Buffalo Bills Summer Reading Program, this Monday, July 8th. The first will be at 1:30 PM at the Audubon Library located at 350 John James Audubon Parkway in Amherst and the second will be at 3:30pm at the Fronczak Branch Library located at 1080 Broadway Street in Buffalo.

With all this praise coming into the league, without ever running a route in an actual NFL game, you would think that Reed would possess a certain amount of overconfidence. However, that's about the furthest thing from the truth.

‘Two of Wright’s cousins were later found with his vehicle at an apartment complex near the accident scene. Witnesses said Wright had been driving and his cousins said he was intoxicated and fled on foot because he was afraid of being caught, police said.’

‘Now the home field get-up isn’t too bad. The simple navy jersey with red rib stripe, gray outlined numbers and red/blue side-striped pants is, in fact, quite attractive. It’s the team’s away uniform that is so unbearably putrid.’

‘Beckwith said witnesses identified Wright as the driver of a car that collided with a van and then departed. He said the van was knocked into a post, where it caught fire, and that the occupants were helped out of the wreckage by bystanders. Three people reportedly were riding in the van, Beckwith said. He said there were reports of injuries in the van, but that he didn’t know how many people were hurt or what type of injuries they might have suffered.’

‘Wright’s attorney, Sal Sciandra, explained why it took so long, "We just became aware that they were looking for him, and as soon as he became aware that they were looking for him, we started making arrangements for him to turn himself in. Part of the delay was making the arrangements with the officers, and some of the delay was my schedule."’

‘All eyes in training camp will be on Bledsoe. Can he shake the rust off and return to his elite form? If he can, that should translate into very big things from Eric Moulds, and possibly a breakout year from Peerless Price.’

‘Wright, who was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in April but has not yet signed with the team, remained missing as of 1:45 p.m. today. Beckwith was quick to say that no charges have been filed against Wright and that the investigation is continuing.’

‘Police began a search for Fresno State wide receiver Rodney Wright, a seventh-round pick by Buffalo in the NFL draft, in connection with an accident Tuesday that injured two people.’

What was once a potential weakness for the Bills is now a potential strength. The Bills have developed their WR corps nicely, and additions made this offseason should help round out the group.

‘”We were going to New Orleans, but Buffalo came in,” he said Monday. “(The Bills) wanted me to work out for them last Wednesday. I went there and it went well.”‘

‘Because of the Fourth of July holiday, Jackson says he’ll officially sign with the Bills next week.’

Mac and Barbara have spoken at events all across the country. Mac estimates that he has spoken to 350,000 people in the last three years. Recently, the Parenting With Dignity board decided to limit the Bledsoes' appearances to Buffalo (where they are setting up an office) and their home state of Montana.
