‘The Bills will meet three of their preseason opponents — all but the Colts — again in the regular season.’

‘Tight end Brady McDonnell signed with the Buffalo Bills on Wednesday after spending last season on injured reserve with the New York Giants.’

McDonnell was made an offer and decided to accept it. The 24-year-old McDonnell (6-3, 268) signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted rookie free agent last April out of the University of Colorado. He suffered a knee injury during the 2001 preseason and spent the entire regular season on the team?s injured reserve list.

The Bills will face three of their four preseason opponents again in the 2002 regular season – the Colts are the only exception (all times EST).

RB William Green (Boston College) is expected to be one of the first running backs drafted in this year's draft on April 20-21.

‘Dawson knows an offer, if made, probably won’t come near the surprising four-year, $4.7 million deal Kris Brown received to jump from Pittsburgh to Houston. "It definitely helped define the market,” Dawson said. "So as a fellow member of the market, that did make me feel quite good. But I’m here to be fair."’

‘Dawson has until April 15 to receive an offer sheet. Otherwise he would remain with the Browns.’

@ No doubt Buffalo will experience addition by subtraction, gaining four draft picks in the April 20-21 draft as compensation for free agent losses a year ago that included All-Pro DE Marcellus Wiley.
