Marker Ask Him Yourself: Tom Donahoe [5:37 PM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: 'Specifically, how much say do you have in who dresses for games, starts, plays, substitutions, play calling, and other game day decisions? In addition, who else has an input and who has the final say in each of those areas on game day?
TD: The final say on these types of personnel decisions rest with Coach Mike Mularkey, along with the input from his staff. Coach Mularkey and I talk everyday about the players and the decisions made with regard to our personnel. Mike will often ask me my opinion on game day personnel decisions, but he has the final say with regard to who starts, plays and how the personnel is used.'

Marker Help - Role Models Needed [4:21 PM]
WGRZ-TV reports: 'Maybe Bills coach Mike Mularkey is smarter than any of us, by inserting the eager but not-yet-ready J.P. Losman into the fray at Foxboro in the final minutes. Losman was given a little piece of humble pie, while getting a slice of experience that could be beneficial later.'

Marker Bills are right at home [3:36 PM]
Olean Times Herald reports: 'At 4-6, the Bills — 0-4 on the road — can forget the playoffs with seven AFC teams at least three games ahead of them at 7-3-or-better with six to play. But they’ve won their last four home games — outscoring the opposition 117-61 in the process — two of those victories against teams with winning records. And the last three wins have been an encouraging blend of quality efforts by the offense, defense and special teams.'

Marker Campbell sensed a big day ahead [3:35 PM]
Olean Times Herald reports: '“Mark’s a guy you’re really got to take your hat off to. It’s not like he was a high draft pick (undrafted free agent with Browns). He’s really had to work his way into the situation where he is now ... a starter and a very viable weapon for us. As far as being under-utilized, there’s some merit to that. When you can get the tight end involved, those are easier, shorter throws for the quarterback to get your rhythm.”'

Marker Bills fans remain loyal [3:34 PM]
Tonawanda News reports: '“I don’t care what their record is. They’re still my favorite team.”'

Marker Buffalo's special teams reduce Rams to tears [3:33 PM]
Niagara Falls Reporter reports: '"They just have good people," Martz said. "Maybe that's the secret." Maybe, Mike. Or maybe you're a pompous windbag who, despite your delusions of genius, was handed a franchise on the brink of dynasty and guided it into the septic tank of mediocrity, making some of the dumbest decisions in recent league history along the way.'

Marker Game Notes: Bills vs. Rams [3:01 PM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: 'Willis McGahee: Registered game highs with 20 attempts for 100 yards…has gained 100+ rushing yards in four of five NFL starts and is the only first-year Bill with four 100-yard rushing performances in a season, breaking the record of three held by Joe Cribbs and Greg Bell.'

Marker Ex-NFL player arrested in Danville, Va. [1:17 PM]
Greensboro News Record reports: 'Officers arrested Julius Tyrone Robertson, 25, of Danville, Va., and charged him with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute and possession of a firearm while possessing drugs. Robertson played for the Buffalo Bills in the National Football League.'

Marker Bledsoe Named Man of the Year [10:23 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: 'This prestigious award began in 1970 and honors players who demonstrate outstanding balance in their lives between civic and professional responsibilities. In 1999, the NFL renamed the award after the late Walter Payton as a tribute to his greatness both on and off the field.'

Marker Bills even score with April, Fletcher's former team [9:40 AM]
Wellsville Daily Reporter reports: 'But more importantly, he didn't pass up a conversation earlier in the week with former Buffalo Bill Jim Kelly, a Hall of Famer. ''We just talked a little bit of how you handle things and how you deal with things when you're faced with some adversity ... It was good conversation,'' Bledsoe said. ''It's nice to know you're not the only one who's been through hard times. ... It's nice to know that you have that support.'''

Marker Plenty more class on the Buffalo sideline [9:39 AM]
Wellsville Daily Reporter reports: 'When his press conference was over, he walked from the press conference area to the locker room, but not before telling Buffalo defensive coordinator Jerry Gray in the hallway that the Bills illegally cut blocked. When Gray told him he didn't realize it, Martz told him twice to check the tape. "We lost three players. The way two of them were lost was a little upsetting, they were cut blocks," said Martz. "One was on an interception return."'

Marker An M'm M'm good! day [8:59 AM]
Buffalo News reports: '"If there is a better special-teams unit in the league right now, I don't know who it is," said Bills quarterback Drew Bledsoe.'

Marker Defense delights with big plays [8:59 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'The Bills limited the Rams to 270 yards, 110 below their season average. Rams running back Marshall Faulk, one of the league's most dangerous all-purpose threats, was rendered a non-factor. His 6 yards tied the lowest rushing total of his career and his 0.5-yard average on 13 carries was his worst single-game effort.'

Marker Smith's play takes a page right out of cartoon history [8:58 AM]
Buffalo News reports: '"As soon as I got back I didn't hear too many congratulations," Smith said. "It was like, "Man, you got caught at the 5.' I was like, "Aw, man, I didn't know. I didn't think anybody else was there.' I was getting out of gas too. I'm not going to lie. But I thought I was going to score."'

Marker An afternoon to remember, but road calls [8:57 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'So while Sunday was a day to remember, I'll hesitate to attach any great significance to it. The Bills are not a bad team, as they appeared to be in the first month of the season. But until they can win on the road, they're counterfeit Bills, the biggest frontrunners in the NFL. Really, how can the team that put on that display be winless on the road at Thanksgiving?'

Marker Complaint file bulging for Martz [8:56 AM]
Buffalo News reports: '"Absolutely they're doing it intentionally," Martz said. "They're trying to blow somebody's knee out. There's no question about it. . . . That stuff comes around eventually."'

Marker Campbell in the zone—three times [8:55 AM]
Buffalo News reports: '"I didn't get a ball in three weeks, and that's frustrating," said Campbell, who has 14 catches for 172 yards and a team-high five touchdowns for the season. "But winning cures all that. When you're winning, it's easy to deal with. If you're losing, you feel like you've got to be able to do something to help. I feel like I'm the kind of guy who can do both block and catch. While I feel like I've blocked well the last three weeks, I haven't been able to make plays. What happened today confirms to me that when you get the opportunities you have capitalize on them."'

Marker Hits keep on coming [8:54 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'The Bills and Miami remain the only teams in the league that are winless on the road.'

Marker Grading the Bills [8:53 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'Bills return game is amazing. Clements & Smith are two-headed monster on punts. Hooray for Bobby April.'

Marker A Different Team At Home [6:53 AM]
Erie Times News reports: 'I laughed, I cried, I wet my pants.'

Marker Bills all souped up [5:15 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: '"When you get big plays on special teams, more often than not you're going to win the football game," said linebacker and occasional special teamer London Fletcher.'

Marker Guard Ritcher added to Wall of Fame [5:15 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: '"In a few ways I'm feeling guilty because there's so many guys I can think of who should go up there before me," said the ever-modest Ritcher. "Guys who mentored me in the early years when I was so terrible and they brought me along and had confidence in me, both players and coaches."'

Marker Campbell delivers on his pre-game premonition [5:14 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'After all, here's a player who caught seven passes for 88 yards and two touchdowns during a three-game span in October, then didn't catch a pass in the last three.'

Marker Chat with Kelly is a boost for Bledsoe [5:13 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'Kelly recounted how he had endured similar calls for his benching during the final seasons of his Pro Football Hall of Fame career. He told the latest in a long line of successors to keep his chin up and things would get better.'

Marker The Ralph no fun for visitors [5:12 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: '"We love to play at home, we love our fans, they give us a lot of energy and we feel good about it."'

Marker Sunday's switches at QB play to mixed reviews [5:11 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'The Buffalo Bills have won four straight home games but they're one of only four winless road teams this season (with Cleveland, Miami and San Francisco) and can't be considered an above-average team until they win a game or two outside of Ralph Wilson Stadium.'

Marker Two-minute read [5:10 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'WR Torry Holt on Bills' dirty play: "I don't know what they were told before the game, but they came out and took some shots at us that I think were unnecessary."'

Marker Report card [5:10 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'Special teams: They just keep getting better for the Bills with rookie Jonathan Smith setting up a TD with a 53-yard punt return and Nate Clements scoring on an 86-yard punt return the very next time up. Jason Peters recovered a muffed Rams' kickoff return by ex-Bill Erik Flowers that led to a field goal and Rian Lindell hit all three of his field-goal attempts. A+'
