Will Bledsoe stay or go? [9:21 AM]
Florida Times Union reports: 'Since Buffalo is the only bidder, the Bills aren't offering the Patriots a big deal. They're certainly not going to give the Patriots the fourth pick in the draft. The Patriots have countered by saying they could bring Bledsoe back, even though that may not be realistic. That's why Bledsoe is likely to still be a Patriot when the draft opens a week from Saturday. Then it becomes interesting. The Bills are likely to test the Patriots' resolve during the draft after they make their first-round pick.'

Fear of a Flutie-Johnson flare-up might bring Bledsoe to Buffalo [9:17 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'The Bills and Pats talked further this week about a deal. The Bills remain in a position of bargaining strength. There's no other team at the moment that is interested in talking trade with the Pats. So the Bills have the luxury of waiting - probably until draft week - and seeing if the Pats will blink.'
Winning or losing hinges on second day of draft [9:15 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'The Bills already have been awarded four extra draft choices, a third-rounder and three in the seventh, and they have to be prepared to use them well. The glamour and fizz take place on the first day of the draft, but the difference between a winning and losing season often hinges on how well a team does on Day Two, when the names mean little to the average fan.'
Drew watch [6:18 AM]
Providence Journal reports: 'The Bills can either stick with Alex Van Pelt, deal for Bledsoe, or sign either Jeff Blake or Chris Chandler, a couple of free agents they've maintained contact with. St. Petersburg Times reports: 'At Buffalo, Johnson was flattened like a hash mark more times than his scrambled mind cares to remember. In fact, in 20 games over the past two seasons with the Bills, he was sacked 79 times for a loss of 487 yards. "When I was out there, I thought I played fine. I just couldn't stay healthy," Johnson said. "I got hit a bunch, whether it was scheme or me holding the ball or not protecting, it was one of those things that happened. When I've been healthy, I've played well."'

Jenkins aggressive but erratic [9:22 AM]
Fox Sports reports: @ Buffalo added some insurance at strong safety with veteran Billy Jenkins. Jenkins is a good fit for the Bills' style of defense because he's a very aggressive and active guy in run support. But he's also erratic at times, especially in the open field, where he misses too many tackles. He's also a liability in pass coverage. Finding the right fit at strong safety is very important to Buffalo.
Strong safety Jenkins signs with Bills [9:19 AM]
Green Bay Press Gazette reports: 'Jenkins reportedly received a $200,000 signing bonus, with a base salary of $525,000 this season and $750,000 next year.'
McKinnie, Georgia DE pay visits [9:18 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'The 6-foot-4, 280-pound Grant has the bulk to stop the run and the speed to get the passer, which is why he's a serious candidate to be taken by the Bills in the first round.'

DE Charles Grant Visits Bills [6:39 AM]
buffalobills.com reports: Buffalo is a great place to play football. There's a good tradition for guys like me at the Defensive End, guys like Bruce Smith. They are a young team and on the rise. The coaching staff and the people of Buffalo are great, since I've been here. They show a lot of interest in football.
OT Bryant McKinnie Talks About His Visit To Buffalo [6:36 AM]

Bills sign safety Billy Jenkins [10:47 AM]
AP reports: 'Jenkins, who completed last season with Green Bay, signed what is believed to be a two-year deal worth about $1.5 million. He now tops a Bills' depth chart featuring only two experienced safeties -- Travares Tillman and Raion Hill, both entering their third season.'
Learn from the Pros: Pierson Prioleau [10:07 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: As a safety the first technique you want to acquire is the "wisdom vision technique". The purpose of this technique is to get an overview of the field and the formation before the snap of the ball.
Bills agree to terms with Jenkins [10:06 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: The Bills today announced that the team has agreed to terms with safety BILLY JENKINS. In accordance with club policy, terms were not disclosed.
Bills sign ex-Packers strong safety [9:12 AM]

High pick offers Bills prizes aplenty [9:12 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'Even if the Bills decide to trade down, they will be able to land a good one. But I don't think they should go past the top 10 or 12 because that's where the truly special players usually are.'
Clayton: Bills sign S Jenkins, address another draft need [8:38 AM]
ESPN reports: The Bills reached a two-year, $1.475 million agreement with Packers safety Billy Jenkins as GM Tom Donahoe narrows down his team's needs heading into the draft. Though Jenkins was signed for depth and his experience, his addition allows the Bills to look at positions other than safety. The Bills, who had Oklahoma S Roy Williams in town for a visit, made a similar move a week ago when they signed tackle Trey Teague. Signing Teague along with tackle Marcus Price gave the Bills the luxury of drafting or not drafting a tackle in the first round.
Donahoe has the fourth selection in the draft. With good depth at safety and the offensive line, the Bills can consider the possibility to trading down and acquiring more draft choices.
