Marker Buckeyes reunite on opposite sides [5:15 AM]

Marker Parcells, Bills' Bledsoe a mutual admiration society [5:14 AM]
Dallas Morning News reports: 'There were testy times, but looking back Bledsoe appreciates what Parcells meant to him. He can laugh now at having to take Parcells a cup of Gatorade before practice, just as this year's top draft pick, Terence Newman, does.'

Marker Quarterback Drew Bledsoe Previews Dallas [11:01 PM] reports: '"We can run the ball on third down and I anticipate that we will do that more through the last eight games of the regular season. We've shown some great progress in the running game in the last few weeks. I anticipate that will become a bigger part of what we do on third downs. To be able to run the ball on some passing downs and to pass the ball more on the running downs (is an advantage)."'

Marker Bills Coach Gregg Williams Previews Dallas [11:00 PM] reports: '"There are certain things and certain plays on both sides of the ball of all three phases that we are doing well. We have to try to take a look and emphasize in doing those a little bit more. There are certain plays within the run game that are averaging out better than some of the other plays. We have to analyze that and see why that is so technique wise, defensive front wise, and scheme wise. What was causing some of those breakdowns? We have to emphasize the runs that did do well. We also took a look at some of our fronts and coverage on defense and where those things were standing out and the emphasis of where it should go in game plan going out the rest of the season."'

Marker Conaty 'A Quick Study' [10:50 PM] reports: '"This is my first day so hopefully I'll learn some things before I get in there," Conaty said. "It's a lot of stuff I've heard before though. I've been around, this is my seventh year. A lot of the terminology is the same so I think I'll be a quick study."'

Marker Glenn enjoying big season in Dallas, for Parcells [9:24 PM]
AP reports: '''I feel comfortable. I feel at home,'' Glenn said Wednesday. ''I feel like I'm a part of what's going on, I feel like I need to be a part of what's going on for us to be successful and I'm happy about that. I want it.'''

Marker Bills Activate McGahee [8:32 PM] reports: '"I feel like in practice I'm playing with some of the best players in the league," McGahee said. "It's like a game tempo for me. They're coming in, we're hitting, so that's like a lot of action for me."'

Going back to last season, the Bills have lost seven of their last eight road games. During that stretch they've been outscored 187-99 and averaged less than 256 yards on offense.'

Marker Bills Add McGahee To 53-Man Roster [4:24 PM] reports: 'To make room for him, the Bills have released running back Ken Simonton.'

Marker Bills prepared to activate RB McGahee [3:10 PM]
AP reports: While impressed by the player's progress, Williams said it's far too early to tell when McGahee could be ready to play, if at all this season.

Marker What a difference a decade makes [1:09 PM] reports: '"That win rates right up there, especially because it was down here and the way they beat us in the Super Bowl," wide receiver Don Beebe said. "It's pretty exciting for the guys. I hate the word revenge, but we'd be lying if we said we didn't have a little more incentive to come in and play these guys well after that debacle in the Super Bowl."'

Marker Bills Alumni Spotlight: Lou Saban [10:55 AM] reports: 'However, one week after celebrating the championship, the coach resigned. At the time, Bills owner Ralph Wilson Jr. reportedly called it a "courageous decision." Saban disagrees. "That’s one thing I didn’t think people have been able to understand. In a person’s own life, there are certain adjustments you think you have to make. At that stage, because of my family, I thought maybe this might be a chance to make one of those adjustments. I tried to see if I could put a very difficult atmosphere, tied in with what I thought was a very congenial situation at home, and keep pressure off my family. That was impossible to do. Youngsters who happen to be children of head coaches in professional sports don’t have it easy. I just couldn’t fathom how difficult it was to make changes in that type of an atmosphere. But I gave it a try."'

Marker Kids helping kids [9:04 AM]

But since that time, Buffalo has averaged just 12.3 points per game. The Bills have tried to established a balanced attack with Henry and Bledsoe being the focal point of the offense and the receiving trio of Eric Moulds, Bobby Shaw and Josh Reed being Bledsoe's prime targets. If the Buffalo offensive line can protect Bledsoe, expect that trio to be a major factor on Sunday.'
