Marker Price's agent right to force Bills' hand [1:53 PM]
Shout! reports: It's smart that agent Tim McGee is urging his client Peerless Price to sign the Bills' franchise-tag offer within a week, which would pay the Bills receiver $5.01 million this season. Though Buffalo could afford that contract, it would not behoove the team to be carrying that salary cap number for a perceived No. 2 receiver, particularly when the team has other needs to fill when free agency opens Friday.

Marker Price intends to sign Bills' franchise-player offer [9:03 PM]
AP reports: 'McGee said he's advising Price to sign the Bills offer to keep his options open. Marker Lofton's speed and "soft hands" made him a deep-threat [3:08 PM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: Itís just a little overwhelming because Iím still the kid who went and tried out for Pop Warner football and wanted to play quarterback and then played defensive tackle. The kid who didnít make all-city in high school. The same guy who didnít get to start until his senior year in college. So where youíre constantly trying to prove yourself - and maybe thatís what drove me so much as a player when I got into the league. To be elected one of the best that ever played the game is just far beyond anything that I ever imagined when I first started playing football."
