Hall of Fame class names presenters [4:52 PM]
CNN/SI reports: Jim Kelly will be introduced by his former head coach Marv Levy. It was an easy choice for the former Buffalo Bills quarterback. Kelly and Levy directed the Bills to four consecutive Super Bowls.
Chris Brown: Rookie signing updates from TD [4:51 PM]
WGR reports: TD talked with Mike Shopp about the status of signing the 6 unsigned draftees. No real suprises--expect the lower round draftees to sign this week with the top 3 lagging into the end of the week or early next week. Sounds like the potential for hold-outs is pretty minimal. Because of the rookie cap the sides start a lot closer financially than they did in the pre-cap years. Length of contract and guaranteed money are the negotiating points.
Chris Brown: Germany, Ostroski injury updates from TD [4:49 PM]
WGR reports: Germany likely to miss the start of camp. Ostroski looks to be ready. Germany's situation may provide the reason for signing Charles Johnson.

Contract talks with Williams should pick up [12:34 AM]
The Sporting News reports: The Bills have a good track record of getting their top pick to camp on time. Last year's No. 1, CB Nate Clements, was a brief holdout, but it obviously didn't hinder his performance that much. However, it's imperative that Williams is in camp from day one. The 6-5, 370-pound OT from the University of Texas is slated to start at right tackle. The Bills could have as many as three new starters (last year's right tackle Jonas Jennings has moved to center) on the offensive line, so they need the five men up front to get as much work together as possible this summer to develop continuity.
Mike Doser & Lary Bump: Reed 'likely will be draft-day steal' [12:27 AM]
Shout! reports: By season's end, if not before, expect Josh Reed to have most of the playing time as the Bills' third wideout and building a case to start in 2003.
Lary Bump: Can Bledsoe avoid a pass rush? [12:24 AM]
Shout! reports: This once would have been the $64,000 question, though in these inflated days, it's probably more like the one-billion-dollar question. The answer is simple: no.
New Left Tackles on the spot [11:40 PM]
ESPN reports: Buffalo will choose from three young candidates -- second-year veterans Jonas Jennings and Marques Sullivan and former Denver starter Trey Teague -- for the right to protect Drew Bledsoe. "It's a job you want because, the way the game is played now, (the blindside) tackle has almost been raised to skill-position status," said Teague, who started all 16 games for the Broncos last year. "You're on the spot every pass play, and there is a lot of pressure that comes with the responsibility, but I think most guys like to prove to themselves and to everyone else that they are up to the task."
The Dying Dynasty: Ended by successful decision to build parity [1:07 PM]
ESPN reports: Bill Polian, who constructed the great Buffalo Bills teams that reached four consecutive Super Bowls from 1990-93, said he believes that kind of sustained excellence is no longer possible.

Bills ready to sell game tickets [5:40 AM]
D and C reports: 'Buffalo Bills fans can purchase individual game tickets for 2002 home games beginning 9 a.m. Saturday.'
Teams hurt by carrying 'dead money' [5:39 AM]
ESPN reports: 'Despite thrifty cap management and a terrific job of whittling away at the pool of "dead money" he inherited, Buffalo Bills general manager Tom Donahoe is still working this year with a hole of nearly $15 million in his salary cap. Over $5 million of that is tied up in former starting quarterback Rob Johnson, released early in the spring.'
Dates Set for 2002 Promotions [1:15 PM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: 'The Bills today announced that center Kent Hull will be placed on the team's Wall of Fame on Sunday, October 6 when the Bills host the Oakland Raiders.'

BuffaloBills.com reports: "I'm going to be working harder than any other safety in the NFL! There are places that I want to go (in the league) and I have a lot of work to do to get there. I wouldn't want to be any other place doing anything else. I couldn't be happier."

AFC East recovery room [6:31 PM]
CBS Sportsline reports: The Dolphins have a series of nagging pains that must be monitored, but the Bills and Super Bowl champs have gotten off pretty clean.
RB Travis Henry (knee) -- Ready for camp.
Henry had his knee cleaned out to repair loose cartilage but has fully recovered. He has worked out and expects to be full bore for camp.
G Jerry Ostroski (knee) -- Limited in camp.
Questions still loom how his knee and leg will respond. The team's veteran guard continues to work through some problems in his knee derived from problems with a leg he broke last preseason. Doctors inserted a metal plate for support but the plate has aggravated his knee. Doctors then cleaned out some tissue in the joint in June to promote healing. He is expected to be limited in camp and the team is uncertain when he will return to 100 percent.
AFC East Primer: Dolphins are best of a good bunch [6:22 PM]
Sporting News reports: If Buffalo can settle its uncertainty in the backfield and offensive line, it could easily sneak past .500 and into the playoffs. One daunting factor is the Bills' strength of schedule -- it's tied for the toughest in the league.
Thunder wins Father's Day tournament [11:23 AM]
