Jon Bon Jovi On Football [10:12 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: I have been fortunate to get to know Bill Parcells and Bill Belichick and have remained close with them over the years. I was lucky enough to be on the team bench and in the team locker room when the Giants won Super Bowl XXV in Tampa in 1990. How many people can say that Bill Parcells and Phil Simms have had dinner at their house?

A work in progress [9:17 PM]
WGRZ-TV reports: 'If anything, the loss to the Colts, which put the Bills at 0-3 in the "it doesn't count" part, only points up what has sort of been forgotten in all the excitement of Drew Bledsoe. This is still a very, very, very young Bills team. Young players make mistakes, and mistakes lead to losses.'

Sparring with Redskins, Bills and Hemingway [9:42 AM]
CNNSI.com reports: And I like Bledsoe's weapons -- Moulds, the rookie, Josh Reed, Jay Riemersma down the seam. Will the QB and the coordinator click? That's the question. I think Gilbride is better working with established players than young ones. It's not the offense I worry about with Buffalo, it's that D-line.

Hey, holdouts: Get into camp now [11:04 PM]
CBS Sportsline reports: The hangup for Jammer, Sims and McKinnie seems to be the contract the Bills worked out with the No. 4 pick, Mike Williams. The deal has clauses and escapes the others all desire but there is no way the Chargers are going to surrender to those demands, and why should they?

Andy Hanacek: Pro Football Weekly chat [10:39 PM]
ESPN reports: With the final cut one week away, who do you see being the odd-man-out in the Buffalo backfield: Bryson or Morris. I would prefer to keep Bryson.
It's an interesting situation in Buffalo, and I'm not sure what they'll do. I know there are rumors that the Bills are simply waiting for a major-RB injury to try to trade Bryson, and that would seem to make the most sense, as they wouldn't get anything for any of the other backs. i think you will see them keep all 4 RBs, shaking down this way on the depth chart: Henry, Bryson, Huntley, Morris. Morris is a very good special-teams player who they won't just give away, and we know what Bryson can do after subbing in for Henry last season. Huntley has been solid in the preseason so far too, so they're in good shape at RB.
Lief Larsen waived-injured [10:02 PM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: In order to get to the 65-man roster limit, the Bills also designated defensive lineman Leif Larsen as waived-injured. He injured his groin earlier in camp.
