Summer strategies [11:22 AM]
WGRZ-TV reports: 'Just what is it about Shawn Bryson that makes you drool at times, and wonder what he’s thinking at other times? He’s got size, great speed, fair hands as a pass receiver, and he’s improving at picking up blitzes. As I see it, Donahoe and Gregg Williams aren’t convinced Bryson is a guy they can win with. He’s not an instinctive runner, often missing holes and running poor pass routes.'

Donahoe seemed a bit put-off by the negotiations. Buffalo does not need more cap space to sign its rookies, but the manner in which Donahoe explained the situation tells me that if the team wants to bring in an additional free agent sometime, it might not have any qualms about cutting the veteran tight end at this point.
