Marker Dinkins to undergo heart surgery [9:48 PM]
AP reports: 'Linta said the surgery, which will be performed in Pittsburgh, is relatively minor, and Dinkins could rejoin the Bills within two months.'

Marker Bledsoe erases past Bills QB troubles [9:45 PM]
AP reports: 'With Johnson in Tampa Bay, and Flutie entering his second season in San Diego, the Bills gear up for a new type of camp, one that doesn't feature any hint of the divisive Johnson-vs.-Flutie feud that clouded the team the previous four years.'

Marker Bledsoe Talks About First Practice [8:44 PM] reports: Effectiveness of Wide Receiver Tandem: I look for them to be among the best in the league as a tandem of outside receivers. They are both extremely talented guys with good speed and size and can catch the ball very well. Peerless (Price) is a very precise route runner, while Eric (Moulds) is explosive after he catches the ball and very hard to tackle.

AP reports: 'Reed, last year's Biletnikoff award winner as the nation's top wide receiver, earned a reputation at LSU as an aggressive receiver in traffic. He was the 36th player selected in the draft.'

D&C reports: Reed signs with Bills. Also reports that Reggie Germany was waived after failing a physical. If that's the case, it may be the first surprise of the year.

WGR reports: Reggie Germany was one of the selected veterans in early at Bills training camp Wednesday. The main reason is Germany is still rehabbing his left knee from surgery he had performed in June. “I’ll be on PUP. to start.” the second year WR explained. “I had microfracture surgery on the knee.” He said.

Marker Schenley grad will miss Bills camp [5:15 AM]
Pittsburgh Tribune Review reports: 'Dinkins, who was a college quarterback, spent last season on the Bills' practice squad as a running back and defensive back before playing in NFL Europe with Amsterdam. He was hospitalized in Germany after a game because of dizziness, but doctors struggled to diagnose his problem. Doctors recently found a defect in his heart that will need arthroscopic surgery to repair. He will be out of action for six-to-eight weeks.'

Marker Gregg Williams Training Camp Press Conference [10:52 PM] reports: The horns: You know we are not going to do that. It will be the first time since I have been in the league that it hasn't been in there. It has nothing to do with the player's like or dislike of it. With our set up here, it is not as much needed as some other situations. We will see what happens when the tardiness comes out. Are they loaded in my suitcase? Yeah they are.

WROC-TV reports: "It feels great, I'm really excited about it....I;m ready to roll," said the veteran signal caller. "I expect us to win to be honest with you," said Bledsoe. "I think we have the talent to do it."'
