Marker Modrak agrees to contract terms [8:58 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'No contract has been signed, but the terms have been agreed upon, according to Scott Berchtold, Bills vice president of communications. The team will introduce Modrak at a news conference today.'

Marker Moore throws a distraction at Bills camp [8:54 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'Williams needs to have a frank conversation with Moore and give him a piece of his mind. The kid is messing up. He's messing with his life and with his team. If the coach can't control him, then he should get him out of here.'

Marker Deal will allow cap relief for older veterans [10:38 PM]
AP reports: "The subsidy for older veterans was one of the keys to the deal,... Under the agreement all players with more than four years in the league will cost the clubs the same in both cap room and dollars, even though the older players will be making more." If a 10-year veteran is due to make the new league minimum salary of $750,000, only $450,000 would count against the cap.

Marker Ranking the NFL's coaches [10:35 PM]
CBS Sportsline reports: 23. Gregg Williams, Buffalo Bills. He has prepared his whole life to be an NFL head coach, so don't expect Williams to blow it. He works as hard as anybody and appears to have a solid grasp of the fine line between pushing too much and pushing not enough. As a defensive coach, he's one of the best. He likes to be aggressive, which is a plus with all the speed in the NFL these days. He has a chance to be a real good one.

AP reports: 'Though no motive has been determined for Moore being shot, the Sun reported Moore was arrested recently in Haywood County and charged with aggravated assault. Moore was allegedly involved in a May 15 incident where a man was hit with a beer bottle, Blackburn told the Sun. Moore was released on bond.'
