Marker Happy homecoming for coach, McGahee [5:01 AM]
Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel reports: '"It was strictly a business trip," Mularkey said, "but it felt good to come home and win. It was a total shootout, a real street fight, and I don't think anyone expected it to be that high scoring. Our guys were sucking air a little because of the heat, but I liked the way they responded."'

Marker Evans gives Buffalo new option [4:58 AM]

Marker Bledsoe's big plays take out Dolphins [4:56 AM]
Florida Today reports: '"It's a tough day for us," Knight said. "But any time you give Drew Bledsoe time like that, hey, you know just as well as me -- he picks people apart. Marker Pick, pick, pick, pick, pick [4:55 AM]

Marker Turnovers Play Key Role in Victory [6:46 PM] reports: '"It was a huge emphasis in this game," Head Coach Mike Mularkey said of creating turnovers. "In the last eight years, this game has been decided, other than one, by the turnover ratio. We have stressed it, the defense responded…and they took advantage of it."'

Marker Postgame Notes [6:41 PM] reports: 'With Bills WR Lee Evans catching four passes for 110 yards today, it snapped the Dolphins’ string of not having allowed an individual 100-yard receiver in 21 straight games.'

Marker Bills Win Up And Down Game [6:40 PM] reports: There were many ups and downs in the 42-32 win over Miami. The offense had some struggles with penalties and sacks but overcame them for four touchdowns. The Defense gave up three first quarter touchdowns but forced six turnovers and scored a touchdown. Special teams scored a touchdown and had a takeaway but gave up some good returns and had some penalties. Here are our position by position grades:

Marker Dolphins Postgame Quotes [6:39 PM] reports: Jim Bates (on Buffalo scoring on the opening kickoff): "Well, we got down there, coming from the backside, nobody showed up. They hit a crease and it was out the gate. It was a lapse in coverage and it’s something we’ve been doing a great job of. And they have a great return team – I think they had four touchdowns on returns coming into the game. We knew that. But we’ve also been great on kick cover teams. It was a total breakdown. Anytime they can go that long on a kickoff return, it isn’t one or two guys, it’s a lot of guys."'

Marker Bills Postgame Quotes [6:38 PM] reports: WR Lee Evans: '“(Eric Moulds and) I seem to compliment each other as the season goes on.”'

Marker Lucky 7's For Bills In 42-32 Win [6:26 PM]

Marker Bills Win Wild Affair 42-32 [6:24 PM] reports: This game between the Bills and Dolphins was so wild it was reminiscent of the games from the 90s. Marker Buffalo 42, Miami 32 [4:31 PM]

Marker Buffalo 42, Miami 32 [4:30 PM]

Only five teams are running the ball a greater percentage of the time, an impressive figure considering the Bills have a losing record. (The 10-1 Pittsburgh Steelers lead the league at 61.7 percent.)'

Marker Rookie Evans gives the Bills offense a helping hand [8:58 AM]
Buffalo News reports: '"My hands are my strong point and I take a great amount of pride in catching with my hands. A lot of times, you can't use your body. You've got to be dependent on your hands. Over the years, I've developed confidence in them, and I'm not afraid to use them."'

Marker Condition: Critical [8:57 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'As a whole, Buffalo's defensive backs constitute the smallest position on the roster. They average 5-11 1/2 and 193 pounds. That's 3 1/2 inches and 42 pounds smaller than kicker Rian Lindell.'

Buffalo News reports: 'Like the current team, the '63 Bills rallied, winning five of their next six. Visions of playoffs danced in their heads. But then they lost to San Diego and lost a critical game to - another drum roll, please - the Patriots.'

Marker Paying off big time [5:03 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: '"He's really having a good year," said quarterback Drew Bledsoe, whose health and well-being is tied directly to the performance of the 6-foot-6, 365-pound Williams. Marker Miami familiar turf for McGahee [5:02 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: '"You know, it's cool," McGahee said of his homecoming. "They've been watching me play all my life so it won't be different. Marker Homecoming win on minds of McGahee, Mularkey [4:59 AM]
Olean Times Herald reports: '“I know we’ve got to win the rest of our games to have it even be a consideration,” said Bills’ quarterback Drew Bledsoe of any post-season scenarios. “ If we don’t win this week, we’ll be on the outside looking in for sure.”'

Marker McGahee churns hope for Bills [4:58 AM]
Toronto Star reports: 'One of the exercises reportedly involved McGahee single-handedly towing a 4x4 truck up and down the street. Merely carrying a team on his back must seem easy by comparison.'
