Buffalo News reports: '"I consider this home, and I really don't want to go nowhere," he said. "If I go somewhere else, I have to start all over. I have to meet other people, do other stuff. Marker Bills giving battered Browns respect [5:07 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: '"It's a unique mentality because everyone realizes a new coach is coming in, so if anything, everybody picks up their play because they know these games are going to be evaluated by the new staff," Tucker said. "They have nothing to lose. I'm sure Robiskie is going to pull out all the stops. We expect nothing but their best, just like we got from Miami."'

Marker Q&A: Jonathan Smith [5:07 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'If you were the Bills' head coach for a day and had a chance to add a play to the playbook, what would it be?
"I'd do a reverse pass with me throwing it. Throw it deep to somebody. I've got some experience with that one."'

Marker Bills don’t want playoff glitz to distract them from today’s matchup [5:06 AM]
Olean Times Herald reports: '“There’s a couple of ways you can look at it ... they’re down in the dumps and lost their coach, or you can look at it as a team that’s desperate and trying to figure out what it’s going to do for next year with guys trying to solidify their jobs within the organization.”'

Marker It's still safe to dream big dreams in Buffalo [5:05 AM]
Olean Times Herald reports: 'Did you ever dream, after an 0-4 start, the Buffalo Bills would be playing a meaningful game in December ... let alone two?'

Marker Give Drew his just due [5:04 AM]
Toronto Sun reports: 'One reason the team didn't pack it in was because in Bledsoe they had a leader who showed not a hint of panic.'

Marker Kicking to Bills is risky business [5:00 AM]
Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel reports: '"All I had to do last week was outrun the kicker," said McGee, referring to the Dolphins' Olindo Mare. "I watch the film. Film don't lie. Those guys make great blocks."'

Marker Weis to be introduced as Irish coach Monday [6:27 PM]
ESPN reports: 'Notre Dame, which interviewed Weis this week, also interviewed Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Tom Clements on Thursday night. Notre Dame officials called Clements, a former Fighting Irish quarterback, on Saturday morning and told him he was no longer in the running for the job and negotiations with Weis began.'

Marker Notre Dame search nears end [6:13 PM]
Chicago Tribune reports: 'Notre Dame has already, according to a source close to the situation, called Bills offensive coordinator Tom Clements and told him that he is no longer in the running for the job.'

Marker Talks heat up for Weis [6:11 PM]
Boston Globe reports: 'The school has decided to focus on Weis because Tom Clements, the Buffalo Bills' offensive coordinator who was once considered the front-runner for the job, is no longer a candidate, according to NFL sources.'

Marker Robiskie aims to start season two [3:47 PM] reports: 'Nobody really expects the Browns to win Sunday. They came into the game against New England emotionally charged but lost by 27. They come to chilly Buffalo prepared but undermanned.'

Marker Random thoughts from [3:46 PM] reports: 'They have Troy Aikman and Brett Hull instead of John Elway and Michael Jordan. They have Norwood instead of Jose Mesa. They have Jim Kelly instead of Bernie or Jim Thome. While, still, no city can match the seamless combination of horrible teams and last-minute heartbreak as Cleveland, our friends from just down the road are the closest to truly understanding what it's like to feel as if they're living under a giant cloud of Murphy's Law.'

Marker Scouting report: The Bills [3:44 PM] reports: 'All the talk from the Browns locker room about playing hard for Terry Robiskie? It's time to find out if a full, distraction-free week under the new head coach means anything in the way of on-field improvements. Buffalo has scored 37, 38, and 42 points, respectively, in each of the last three weeks, and will be looking to score plenty again against the banged-up Browns defense.'

Marker Bills not looking past bumbling Browns [3:14 PM]
AP reports: 'The importance of this game cannot be understated for Buffalo, in a five-team race for the AFC's sixth and final playoff berth. What's sobering is the Bills, because of tie-breaking scenarios, don't control their destiny and won't be guaranteed anything even if they win their remaining four games.'

Marker Football fans turn attention to the needy [8:59 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'Big Dawg returns to Buffalo this weekend, along with about 40 of his canine-like buddies. But this time he'll be barking for his Cleveland Browns, and challenging Bills fans to give to The News Neediest Fund.'

Marker Under the radar [8:53 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'If it's possible for a player on pace for 91 catches and 1,120 yards to go unnoticed, wide receiver Eric Moulds has done it.'

Marker Bills' prize catch idolized Browns [5:46 AM]
Cleveland Plain Dealer reports: '"It means a lot," said Evans, the Bills' first-round pick, the 13th choice overall, out of Wisconsin. "Probably, everybody back at home will be watching. It will be extra motivation for this game, but I get up for every game. You get up a little bit more when you know the people back at home are watching you."'

Marker Donahoe's plan for building Bills finally kicking in [5:05 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'The mere fact the Bills are talking playoffs after a demoralizing start is impressive. It appears that many of the pieces for future success are in place. And if Buffalo continues moving forward, the man once known as Dona-woe may become known as Dona-wow in some circles.'

Marker Bills facing second interim coach in as many games [5:04 AM]
Olean Times Herald reports: '“What’s been outstanding on defense,” Robiskie said of the Bills, “is that Jerry (Gray, coordinator) constantly has been able to get those guys to play at a high-end level no matter what’s been happening on the other side of the ball. And that’s hard. Sometimes when your offense has been struggling and still trying to get a feel for what Mike (Mularkey, head coach) and Tom (Clements, offensive coordinator) are doing ... the defense has to say. ‘We’ve got to keep going and keep plugging and let those guys catch up.’ And, next thing you know, a couple of plays (on offense), Willis hits on one or two and now your defense is ready to roll and it all starts coming together.”'
