Marker New party plans for McCoy... [1:57 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'That whole females-only party LeSean McCoy was throwing Sunday night? The Buffalo Bills running back is now welcoming... everyone!'

Marker Five previous Bills camps that generated a buzz [1:56 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'Bills fans were giddy when the team arrived for this camp. On the heels of the worst season since 1985, the gruesome 3-13 abomination in the first year of the Tom Donahoe-Gregg Williams Era, hopes were high that a turnaround was on the horizon. In the offseason, the Bills acquired quarterback Drew Bledsoe in a trade from New England, giving the Bills their first competent player at that critical position since Jim Kelly in 1996.'

Marker Bills QB: The cases for Cassel, Manuel, and Taylor [1:55 AM]
WGR-AM reports: 'If you were to go into a science lab and construct, physically, what you’d like an NFL QB to look like, and the physical and mental attributes you’d like him to have, you’d come out of there with something very similar to EJ Manuel.'

Marker Bills top 20 talents: No. 5 - HB LeSean McCoy [1:54 AM]
WKBW-TV reports: 'The Bills were disappointed in 2014 because they expected the running game to help lead the efforts. The offensive line was woeful, and the running backs couldn't over-compensate for them -- meaning changes were on the way for 2015. The Bills addressed the offensive line, and went for as high-profile an acquisition as you'll find in trading for McCoy this offseason. McCoy will be the leader of the entire offense, and will be the focal point of both the Bills and their opponents.'

Marker Bills top 20 talents: No. 6 - DE Mario Williams [1:53 AM]
WKBW-TV reports: 'Williams will once again be a part of one of the most talented defensive lines in all the NFL. He'll certainly disappear sometimes, but he also has shown the ability to take over a game when the right tackle in front of him is simply no match. With Rex Ryan at the helm and calling the defense in 2015, there will likely be many opportunities for Williams to put up big production in sacks for the upcoming campaign.'

Marker Bills top 20 talents: No. 7 - DE Jerry Hughes [1:52 AM]
WKBW-TV reports: '- With a brand new contract in hand and a brand new defensive scheme in town, Hughes could have his biggest statistical output since entering the NFL. Rex Ryan is known for packing the pressure and creating unique blitzes, which could turn Hughes into a weapon in this Bills defense. He has the ability to be a stand-up rush outside linebacker in addition to his normal defensive end duties. Over the past several years, Ryan hasn't had a pass rusher as talented as Hughes, which could bring big results. Often thought of as the fourth-best of the four defensive linemen, Hughes will challenge that this year.'

Marker Can LeSean McCoy reach 2,000 all-purpose yards? [1:51 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: '“I know they want LeSean to get up to 300 carries this year,” said Jackson in a radio interview on Bills flagship station WGR Sportsradio 550. “That’s a guy you’re feeding the ball all the time.”'

Marker 3 ways Percy Harvin will help the offense [1:50 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: '“Percy is a world class athlete that’s a very tough, physical, strong football player that we envision being a big factor for us at the receiver position,” said Roman. “And I personally think his best days are ahead of him as a receiver, down-in and down-out.”'

Marker Bills are in for a new level of team bonding at ‘Camp Rex’ [1:59 AM]
Buffalo News reports: '“It’s more about building chemistry than actual X’s and O’s and execution and stuff like that,” says Bart Scott, who played linebacker for Ryan on the Jets and when Ryan was defensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens. “It’s really more about building a cohesive unit.”'

Marker Bills refuse to make a snap judgment at quarterback [1:58 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'Ryan says he understands fans’ frustration about the never-ending search for Jim Kelly’s successor as the organization’s franchise quarterback, but feels that a three-man competition is a reason to be excited.'

Marker Cast aside by Eagles, Bills’ McCoy has plenty to prove [1:57 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'He’s electric. He’s elite. In six seasons, McCoy has already rushed for 6,792 yards and 44 touchdowns with another 2,282 yards and 10 touchdowns receiving. As other teams invest in $100 Million Dollar Quarterbacks, the Bills paid up for a 27-year-old running back.'

Marker Is Marcell Dareus the best DT in the division? [1:56 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'As for Dareus, he has a strong case to make. His sack total has increased from 5.5 (twice) to 7.5. to 10 last season. Demanding double-teams at a nimble 331 pounds, he has helped free up both Williams and Jerry Hughes. Further, he might be the No. 1 reason the Bills’ run defense has finished 11th and fifth the last two years. Wider than Suh, with a motor that doesn't flicker as much, he'll control a gap with more regularity.'

Marker It’s time to get serious about the NFL [1:55 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'Here are the five biggest stories I’ll be watching in training camp – any one of which could be the dominant theme in an ordinary summer...'.

Marker Aaron Maybin, a first-round draft pick for Bills in 2009, finds peace through art [1:54 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'Maybin knows many people consider him a football failure and one of the worst draft picks in Buffalo Bills history. Fans grew to loathe him for his colorful personality and wee production. Many fans would say: “I would have given my right arm to have his opportunity.” But fans might lop off their left arm to have Maybin’s life now.'

Marker Janine Talley’s Journal: Darryl’s passionate about the fan connection [1:53 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'Darryl is assigned the “Stans” of the world because he has the ability to defuse their critique of his play and the play of his teammates and the patience to listen to it. It’s agonizing to hear for the millionth time what he or one of the guys could’ve or should’ve done to win those games. Discussing what many fans consider a failure, the loss of four Super Bowls, and his ability to point out their successes on the football field reinforces Darryl’s pride in himself and his teammates. And with that, both Darryl and Stan get something from the experience.'

Marker Wyckoff's Chris Hogan fits the Bills [1:52 AM]
Bergen Record reports: '"It could definitely be harder," said Hogan, who reportedly has a base salary of $585,000 for 2015. "There’s a lot of guys we’re going to want to put the ball into their hands. It is what it is. At the end of the day, if we’re winning, that’s all I care about. If we’re playing at the end of January, or early February, that makes all the difference."'

Marker Sources: Bills likely to part ways with Kromer [1:51 AM]
WKBW-TV reports: 'Kromer's likely departure from the team will leave a void, but, assistant offensive line coach Kurt Anderson is thought of to be a candidate to replace him. A former offensive coordinator with the Chicago Bears, Kromer was hired by the Bills in January.'

Marker Bills top 20 talents: No. 8 - WR Percy Harvin [1:50 AM]
WKBW-TV reports: 'His 2015 impact may be limited, mainly due to the expected level of quarterback play in the upcoming season. Since the trio of quarterbacks have yet to show a consistent presence in throwing longer passes, it could benefit Harvin from a volume perspective. He'll likely be lined up both on the outside and in the slot, and will be given the opportunity -- and even depended on at times -- to get yards after the catch. His season statistics will not likely be indicative of his talent.'

Marker Bills top 20 talents: No. 9 - LB Nigel Bradham [1:49 AM]
WKBW-TV reports: 'The upcoming season will certainly be an interesting one for Bradham. He faced the most adversity of his career when playing in the Mike Pettine defensive scheme that was mostly a 3-4 scheme for the linebackers. Rex Ryan's scheme will be multiple, but Bradham will need to acclimate to the odd-front defense with a lot more ease than he did two years ago. However, Bradham also has the opportunity to be a weapon in Rex Ryan's defense. One of the most overlooked strengths to his game is the ability to blitz and put pressure on the quarterback. With Ryan's pressure-based system, it would be fair to expect Bradham to be a thorn in the side of quarterbacks on a weekly basis.'

Marker Bills top 20 talents: No. 10 - TE Charles Clay [1:48 AM]
WKBW-TV reports: 'In this offense, with these quarterbacks, Clay has a chance to really be a focal point for the Bills. That's not to belittle some of the other receivers the team has on the roster, but the tight end is generally considered to be a 'security blanket' for a quarterback. That normal factor will likely be multiplied by offensive coordinator Greg Roman's tight end friendly offensive system. Clay has the athleticism to make a solid impact this year, but isn't likely to become one of the upper-echelon tight ends as his contract would indicate.'

Marker Can Preston Brown handle Rex Ryan's defense? [1:59 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'One NFL personnel executive who studied Brown closely out of college believes he can handle Ryan’s scheme. Year 1 seemed to debunk the concern that he's too slow. Brown ran a 4.86 at the NFL scouting combine before falling to 73rd overall.'

Marker What's Harvin's role in offense? Any breakouts? [1:58 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'That doesn’t figure to leave a whole lot for a third receiver, which is the spot I am expecting Harvin to fill. That also doesn’t mean he will be an afterthought. The Bills want him to be more than the gadget-type player he has been for most of his six NFL seasons. They likely will still involve him in sweeps and screens, but as receivers coach Sanjay Lal pointed out during offseason workouts, those plays aren’t nearly as effective if the Bills don’t first allow Harvin to establish himself as a legitimate threat as a true receiver.'

Marker Russ Brandon Q&A: Bills ‘yearn for great times ahead’ [1:57 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'I defer to coach Ryan and Doug Whaley who run that part of our operation. The entire organization has been focused on improving this team, and obviously we had a very aggressive offseason, a very solid draft the last few years that Doug Whaley and his staff have put together, coupled with the veterans on this team that have done very good things. A year ago we were 9-7 with the fourth-best defense, and people also forget that we had the third-rated special teams unit, so we have some excellent building blocks in this organization. But the development of the quarterback position, Greg Roman, David Lee, Chris Palmer, and the coaches that surround that position, they’ll do everything in their power to get as much production as possible. We’re looking forward to seeing good things from that position.'

Marker 4 predictions for the Buffalo Bills' 2015 wide receiver group [1:56 AM]
Syracuse Post-Standard reports: 'After fighting through injuries last year, Watkins should enter the season at full strength. With a full offseason under his belt, Watkins will be a better play in 2015. The problem is he will also have to share the ball with Harvin, Woods, Clay and running back LeSean McCoy. There won't be a lot of passes to go around in Buffalo this season, and Watkins likely won't get the numbers he deserves.'

Marker Van was the man in local sports [1:55 AM]
Niagara Gazette reports: 'He was a mentor who never had a bad word to say about anybody (except when Don Paul stole time from his sportscast). After my worst day in broadcasting, filling in as a sports anchor on a weekend that included Bills pre-season highlights (trust me it was a train-wreck of truly epic proportions), that following Monday Van looked at the tape and said, “Rico, as a sports guy, you’re a pretty good newsman.” I never forgot that support.'

Marker Bills’ quarterback makes stop at local car dealership [1:54 AM]
Dunkirk Observer reports: '"It's been great," Cassel said. "It's as good of a fan base as I've been around my entire career. And obviously I've played against the Bills and been on the opposite side. I'm really excited to be coming into the Buffalo Bills and having them be part of that home-field advantage for us. The 12th man so to speak."'

Marker Bills, Dareus still talking contract [1:54 AM]
WGR-AM reports: '“Whatever they’re going to do, they’re going to do. It’s not anything right now that I can even focus on. It’s out of my hands. I’m just going to continue to do what I have to do for the team, because they have me for a year. And at the same time I’m going to do the best I can no matter if they’re paying me one, two-hundred, it doesn’t even matter to me. I’m just going to do the best I can. I love my job, so it is what it is.”'

Marker Bills top 20 talents: No. 11 - S Aaron Williams [1:53 AM]
WKBW-TV reports: 'Williams will once again be depended on as the mainstay of the safety position in 2015, now that Duke Williams and Corey Graham will battle it out to be the starter next to him. He's at his best when he's reading the quarterback and can make a play on the ball. And when he was under the tutelage of Mike Pettine as defensive coordinator in 2013, his production was quite evident. He'll look to return to that level of play in 2015 with the similar defensive play-calling style that Rex Ryan will provide.'

Marker Bills top 20 talents: No. 12 - OT Cordy Glenn [1:52 AM]
WKBW-TV reports: 'In an effort to revamp the entire offensive line, the Bills declared that all starting positions would be up for grabs. It's really not that big of a stretch to think that the Bills don't have another option at left tackle besides Glenn, though. He'll likely resume his role as a starting left tackle, but the pressure is on him this year. He is a free agent as of March, and will need to show he can regain the form of his first two seasons before hitting the open market, or, to prove to the Bills that he should be re-signed when they have a bevy of other players on the roster to do the same with.'

Marker Will Jerry Hughes make the Pro Bowl? [1:50 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: '“It’s rare that you have to pull a guy from practice because he’s ruining your practice,” Ryan said. “But I had to pull him today. If we were keeping track he might have had five-six sacks. It’s one of those deals, it’s like OK, let’s pull him out. Let’s get a pass off or something like that. He really did have that kind of day today.”'
