Marker Rex: ''jumping felt like competing on Sundays'' [1:53 AM]
WGR-AM reports: '“When you get out there it’s like, ‘woo-hoo!’ Man you are just - well - you’re flying. That’s really what it is. All the way it’s just so awesome. You’re looking at the view and everything else and it was really incredible, man. It really was.”'

Marker Bills Positional Briefs: Wide Receiver [1:52 AM]
WKBW-TV reports: 'Marcus Thigpen - Likely on the outside looking in due to the additions to the roster, Thigpen's best hope is to outduel any and all challengers for the main punt and kickoff return duties. It's a tough ask, mainly because of all the players that not only have experience doing it, but that are also quite effective at it as well. He's going to have to 'wow' the coaching staff and front office to stick, but he does have ability in the return game, so you can't totally rule him out just yet.'

Marker Can the offensive line rebound in 2015? [1:51 AM] reports: '“I think we’re just taking it day by day,” said Incognito. “With a new system and a new scheme it takes a while to jell. We really won’t jell until we put the pads on and play a couple of preseason games, but we’re working to get better each and every day.”'

Marker Polian calls Hall ‘incredible honor’ [1:59 AM]
Buffalo News reports: '“You almost can’t put it into words,” Polian said on a conference call Thursday. “The Hall of Fame is not something someone like myself ever envisioned. … It’s just an incredibly momentous occasion and an incredible honor to think that you’re there with people you’ve revered and looked up to all your life.”'

Marker State’s Bills suite saw spike attendance in 2014 [1:58 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'In all, 85 percent of those tickets were distributed in 2014, according to a state report. That was a significant jump from the first year the state had access to the box, when 52 percent of the seats went unoccupied during the 2013 season, including two late-season games where the box sat empty.'

Marker 3 reasons Preston Brown's game can take a big leap forward [1:57 AM] reports: '“I think you’ve got to do a little more because you have to read off the line a lot more,” Brown said of his role as a sideline-to-sideline pass defender this year. “We’re linebackers so we’ve just got to back them up and go off of which way they go.”'

Marker 2015 Training Camp ticketed practice information [1:56 AM] reports: 'All tickets will be made available on Monday, July 20 at 9:00 a.m. at the following locations and websites...'.

Marker RB Williams envisions a role with Bills [1:59 AM]
Buffalo News reports: '“I make very quick decisions,” Williams said. “It may not be the best decision, the best read or the best cut but I don’t like to waste time getting to the line of scrimmage. … I played defense. I know how it feels to hit somebody very, very hard. The people who think too much running the football are the ones who get teed off on.”'

Marker Bills' Kromer given August court date [1:58 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'One month from now, Kromer will get his day in court. And the Bills – who will be two weeks deep into training camp by then – will need to make a decision on the offensive line.'

Marker Issues of character weighed on sliding scale [1:57 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'The Bills looked past Richie Incognito’s transgressions and concentrated on how he could help their team. They kept Marcell Dareus after he ran into legal problems partly because he was a great defensive tackle. They must have figured Kromer was worth hiring even though he caused a major controversy in Chicago.'

Marker How a Rookie Head Coach Derailed a Rookie Quarterback, then Vanished with $4 Million [1:56 AM]
Fox Sports reports: 'As mentioned, EJ Manuel was at his best on 1st down passes. His 98 passer rating in weeks 1-3 on first and 10 ranked him behind (primarily) future hall of fame quarterbacks. Manuel was out-dueling most of the league on 1st down. And he was passing on 45% of these 1st down plays (NFL average was 46%). But in weeks 4 and 5, Marrone called 9 passes and 36 runs on 1st downs. That's 20% passes and 80% runs!'

Marker Bills face important decision [1:55 AM]
WGR-AM reports: 'The O-line coach needs to help Cordy Glenn get back to the top of his game, make sure Richie Incognito behaves himself and sort out the right side of the line. At this point it appears the Bills will have a rookie starting at right guard in John Miller and a second year player at right tackle. That would be either Seantrel Henderson who has all of 16 NFL starts on his resume or Cyrus Kouandjio who has zero NFL starts and wasn't good enough to be on the field for a single offensive snap last season.'

Marker How big a jump will the running game make? [1:54 AM] reports: 'In Roman, the Bills appear to have just the right coach to resuscitate Buffalo’s rushing attack. He spent four seasons as Offensive Coordinator in San Francisco, and Roman’s Niners teams were never ranked below 8th in the league when it came to yards on the ground. The last three seasons, San Francisco was ranked 4th, 3rd, and 4th in rushing yards per game.'

Marker Ex-teammate gives a vote to Taylor as Bills’ QB [1:59 AM]
Buffalo News reports: '“He’s a very versatile quarterback,” said Brooks. “The kid can run. He can definitely sling the ball around. He’s one of my favorite quarterbacks – I loved playing with Tyrod. He always gave us a good look. Whenever we faced a good running quarterback, he always got us prepared. Most of the time, he was doing it better than they did.”'

Marker Bills put Kromer on indefinite paid leave [1:58 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'There’s physical evidence to support the arrest report, too. Corey Dobridnia, the Walton County Sheriff’s public affairs coordinator, said in a press conference that the alleged victim had “some swelling and some bruising” to the left side of his face when deputies responded. She added that the ages of the victims would not be publicized until the case went to court and it becomes “public knowledge.”'

Marker High-flyin’ Rex Ryan will team up with Army parachutists at air show [1:57 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'The news release from the Air Force Reserve’s 914th Airlift Wing did not explain why Ryan decided to jump from an airplane, which, veterans of the practice can tell you, is even scarier than the Bills’ quarterback depth chart. NFL head coaches don’t routinely jump out of airplanes, and it’s difficult to imagine a coaching legend such as Bill Belichick doing so.'

Marker Bills assistant doesn't need to come back [1:56 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'Then again, if I’m the Bills, I’d elect to turn Kromer’s indefinite paid vacation into a permanent firing with the appropriate parting gifts and avoid this public relations mess all together. Hey, he’s an offensive line coach, not an All-Pro quarterback or defensive end.'

Marker Buffalo Bills place OL coach Aaron Kromer on indefinite paid administrative leave following arrest [1:55 AM]
Syracuse Post-Standard reports: 'While Kromer is suspended, assistant offensive line coach Kurt Anderson is the next man up to fill his spot. The Bills open training camp on July 31 at St. John Fisher College.'

Marker Bills coach Rex Ryan will jump from plane with Army's parachute team [1:54 AM]
Syracuse Post-Standard reports: 'The two-day show, which takes place at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Stations, begins Saturday and is open to the public. The show is the first of its kind at the base since 2011, when an estimated 150,000 came to witness the performances.'

Marker Buffalo Bills' Duke Williams denies hitting on porn star Mia Khalifa [1:53 AM]
Syracuse Post-Standard reports: 'The Beirut-born adult film star, a Florida State University student who was recently named the most popular performer on PornHub, shared the conversation and warned her 660,000 followers that "Trespassers in my DM's will be shot and hung out to dry in public." She similarly called out the rapper Drake in January for sending her "cringeworthy" messages on Instagram.'

Marker Bright offseason turns dark for Buffalo [1:52 AM]
Salamanca Press reports: 'The ‘One Buffalo’ teams each have a prominent employee —a Sabres player and Bills assistant coach — facing charges for crimes of stupidity.'

Marker Rex Ryan brings swagger in latest Buffalo makeover [1:51 AM]
USA Today reports: '"I know it's been 15 years since the Bills made the playoffs," Ryan said. "Well get ready, man, we're going. We are going."'

Marker Buffalo Bills coach plans tandem parachute jump at air show [1:49 AM]
AP reports: 'The Golden Knights have been around for more than 55 years. The team is one of three authorized Department of Defense aerial demonstration teams. The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and Navy Blue Angels are the others.'

Marker Bills OL coach Kromer placed on indefinite leave [1:48 AM]
The Sports Network reports: 'The 15-year NFL coach was hired by the Bills in January after spending the past two seasons as the offensive coordinator of the Chicago Bears.'

Marker Bills put OL coach Kromer on paid leave [1:47 AM]
The Sports Xchange reports: 'In a statement issued Sunday, the Walton County Sheriff's office said Kromer and son Zachary were fishing on Saturday when they confronted three boys over beach chairs. Kromer is alleged to have hit one of the boys in the face after throwing a fishing pole into the water. According to the sheriff's report, Kromer then threatened to kill the boy's family if he reported the incident to authorities.'

Marker Making the Leap, No. 4: Bills WR Sammy Watkins [1:46 AM] reports: 'The question isn't whether Watkins will produce. It's whether he will emerge as one of the best at his position, ultimately proving worthy of the exorbitant price the Bills paid to trade up for him.'

Marker Offensive Line Coach Aaron Kromer placed on indefinite paid administrative leave [1:45 AM] reports: '“We have been in regular discussions with the league office and have decided to place Aaron on indefinite paid administrative leave in accordance with the league’s Personal Conduct Policy while we continue to work our way through the investigative process with the league.”'

Marker 5 things that will most affect the QB competition [1:44 AM] reports: 'Tyrod Taylor also showed a willingness to take risks in the spring practices as he was the most frequent deep ball passer in the three-man competition. Matt Cassel appeared to be more calculated in his risk taking through the course of the spring.'

Marker Bills will weigh facts before any decision on Kromer [1:59 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'At some point, the Bills have a football decision to make with training camp two weeks away. Early signs point to the team letting the legal process play out and remaining as diligent as possible. The Bills do have an assistant offensive line coach on staff in Kurt Anderson, a 37-year-old highly regarded in coaching circles. Their primary offensive line coach from last year, Pat Morris, is also still available.'
