Marker First quarter analysis: Taylor outdueling Carr early as Bills and Raiders are tied [1:41 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'Taylor hit Watkins twice on the drive (while going 6 for 7 for 75 yards) after not targeting him until the second quarter last week.'

Marker Jay Skurski's Report Card: Running game was great, but Bills will want to run away from other g [1:40 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'It’s a problem when McCoy is the team’s leading receiver, as he was with seven catches for 61 yards. Buffalo’s longest completion was a 22-yarder to Justin Hunter that served as his only catch. Tyrod Taylor has now gone three straight games throwing for less than 200 yards. He and Sammy Watkins clearly weren’t on the same page on at least a couple occasions Sunday. The injuries at wide receiver certainly don’t help, but that excuse is getting old. General Manager Doug Whaley can share some of the blame for mismanaging the position if the players on the field can’t get it done.'

Marker Charles Clay headlines Bills' list of inactives against Raiders [1:39 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'Also inactive Sunday for the Bills are: cornerback Ronald Darby (concussion), wide receivers Percy Harvin (migraines) and Robert Woods (knee), quarterback Cardale Jones, tight end Logan Thomas and defensive tackle Jerel Worthy.'

Marker Total, epic meltdown as Bills lose 38-24 to Raiders [1:38 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'The Bills played the way losers play, the way a team that doesn’t know how to win plays. They played scared, they played conservative, they played not to lose, and of course, what did they end up doing? They lost.'

Marker Maiorana: Another depressing December on tap for Bills [1:37 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'What a charade. What that line doesn’t say is that for the miracle to happen, the first thing they’re going to have to do is win their remaining four games, and after watching that performance in Oakland Sunday, does anyone truly believe they’re capable of sweeping the last four, especially when the gauntlet starts with the Steelers next week?'

Marker Raiders 38, Bills 24: Quarter by quarter recap [1:36 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'It was a complete quarter of misery for the Bills as they allowed two more touchdowns to the Raiders to lose the game. The offense stunk, the defense stunk, the special teams stunk, and the coaches stunk.'

Marker Report card [1:35 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'As horrendous as this loss wound up being, it wasn’t a completely horrendous day. The Bills played very well for 2½ quarters and seemed to be in command with a 24-9 lead before it all came crashing down in spectacular, season-killing fashion. But this is what the Bills do, they almost always fail in a big spot, which this was, and it should come as no surprise that they lost to a team that is now 10-2. Oakland is clearly the better team, I can’t deny that, but the Bills had a 15-point lead and proceeded to play some of their worst football, in all three phases, thereafter. They’re 6-6. That’s what they are.'

Marker Buffalo Bills lose composure, lack confidence in meltdown against Oakland Raiders [1:34 AM]
Syracuse Post Standard reports: 'The Bills could have punched back. A more well-coached team might have stopped the bleeding. Rex Ryan's team went three-and-out, allowed the Raiders to score 29 unanswered points and lost its sixth game of the season, this one by a score of 38-24.'

Marker Tyrod Taylor lets Buffalo Bills down with disasterous game in loss to Raiders [1:33 AM]
Syracuse Post Standard reports: '"Look, let's just let this play out," Ryan said. "We feel pretty comfortable with Tyrod. There's a lot of factors that go into everything. Obviously their quarterback is, I don't know how many fourth quarter things he's brought back this year, but it's a whole bunch of them and another one today. But with that being said, there's other factors that go into it."'

Marker Latavius Murray joins Marcus Allen in Raiders' lore after 2 touchdowns vs. Bills [1:32 AM]
Syracuse Post Standard reports: '"I just think it's a testament to what the o-line has been doing up front, and I think it's a combination of the backs as a whole," Murray said after the game. "Yeah, I'm going in there and putting in a bunch of touchdowns, especially on the goal line, but on that first one, I told Jalen, 'Thank you.' Because he's the one who set that up for me. DeAndre as well. It's been a team effort, a group effort, starting with the o-line and the running backs as a whole. I've just been fortunate to get the opportunities to finish off the runs."'

Marker Taylor, Bills offense disappears as Raiders notch 29-unanswered in 38-24 loss [1:31 AM]
Batavia Daily News reports: 'Well, that escalated quickly.'

Marker Buffalo Bills Week 13 Report Card [1:30 AM]
Auburn Citizen reports: 'Of the 16 games that will be played this season, this is one the front office could look at and question whether this coaching staff has what it takes to lead this team to the playoffs. Playoff teams don't blow 15-point leads and give up 29 unanswered points. That's inexcusable.'

Marker Bills collapse dents playoff hopes in 38-24 loss to Raiders [1:29 AM]
AP reports: '"You feel that momentum shift and it just snowballed on us," coach Rex Ryan said. "Sometimes I think we lose confidence and you just can't let that happen to you."'

Marker Comeback kids: Mack, Carr lead Raiders to 38-24 win vs Bills [1:28 AM]
AP reports: '"It's pretty obvious we have to win the rest of them to even have a chance, so we'll see what happens," coach Rex Ryan said. "Thank goodness we have the next three at home. We have to win every one of them and we understand that."'

Marker Carr leads another rally for Raiders in 38-24 win over Bills [1:27 AM]
AP reports: '"It was one of those situations where everything they did went right and we just couldn't make a play," safety Corey Graham said. "I've never really been in a situation like that where everything went wrong, just like you couldn't make a play, and then those guys went on a roll and it was like everything they did turned to gold."'

Marker Raiders score 29 straight points to rally past Bills [1:26 AM]
The Sports Xchange reports: '"Sometimes you feel that momentum shift, and it just snowballed on us," Bills coach Rex Ryan said. "Sometimes I think we lose confidence. You can't ever have that happen to you. To their credit now, (Oakland) has done this a bunch. This is a heck of an offense."'

Marker Bills collapse; blown out by Raiders, 38-24 [1:25 AM]
WGR-AM reports: 'The Bills will return to the friendly confines of New Era Field to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers next Sunday. The Bills will need to win out and get some help from others around the NFL in order to have any legitimate chance at making the playoffs.'

Marker Bills-Raiders: Arrow Up/Arrow Down [1:24 AM]
WGR-AM reports: 'Going into the season, conventional wisdom was, “get to ten wins and see what happens.” That’s often good enough to get into the postseason. Well, here we sit, four games left, and now needing them all to get to that double-digit win total this organization hasn’t seen since 1999. And with the way the AFC looks right now, there’s a solid possibility ten wins won’t even be enough to get the job done and put them in.'

Marker Raiders score 29 unanswered to beat Bills 38-24 [1:23 AM]
WKBW-TV reports: 'Buffalo's current 16-year postseason drought is the longest in the NFL.'

Marker Joe B: 7 observations from Bills - Raiders (12/4/16) [1:22 AM]
WKBW-TV reports: 'Taylor’s inability to help bring a level of calmness to the team is where he failed as the man playing the most important position in the game.'

Marker Bills collapse against explosive Raiders [1:21 AM]
WROC-TV reports: 'Rex Ryan’s boys were on a roll. And then faster than you could say Kenny Stabler their defense and their offense disappeared into a black hole, never to be heard from again.'

Marker Raiders Steamroll Bills In The 2nd Half [1:20 AM]
Bills Daily reports: 'The Bills came ready to play and shockingly opened up a big lead in the 2nd half. Unfortunately there was too much time left on the clock and the final 25 minutes of the game resembled so many late season West Coast games as the Bills wilted down the stretch. The Bills haven't won a big road game against a good team in 12 years. Just when it looked like it might happen on this day the Bills remembered who they were and got rolled over for a very depressing loss that likely clinches the playoff drought going to an unbelievable 17 years.'

Marker Week 13: Total Collapse In Another Road Loss [1:19 AM]
Bills Daily reports: 'Grade D: It's is becoming crystal clear he's not a franchise quarterback. The search continues.'

Marker Bills falter late in loss to Raiders [1:18 AM] reports: 'Buffalo’s game plan was working well. They were running the ball effectively and held the Raiders high-powered passing attack in check to successfully build a 15-point lead midway through the third quarter (24-9). Then the Oakland attack woke up scoring 29 unanswered points in a span of just over 15 minutes of game clock to take a lead they would never relinquish in a 38-24 come from behind victory.'

Marker Big effort by McCoy and Bills rushing attack lost in defeat [1:17 AM] reports: 'The NFL’s number one rushing attack couldn’t be stopped until the Bills fell behind in the fourth quarter. McCoy had 17 carries for 130 yards. Gillislee added 49 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries.'

Marker What they're saying: Bills players ponder missed opportunities in loss to Oakland [1:16 AM] reports: '“It (stinks), man, it really does. There are some plays I missed today that I wish I had back. It was a weird game because I felt like we did everything we could do early in the game. In the second half they came out firing. We were in zebra personnel, which is a passing [formation" target="_blank"> and they had their big guys in trying to stop us from running the ball. We had some success and then we just collapsed. We couldn’t move the ball, we couldn’t do anything right. We stalled on a few drives and had the turnover. It was a super snowball effect. As a team, we can’t win like that – especially on offense.”'

Marker Charles Clay among the Bills inactives for today's game [1:15 AM] reports: 'On Saturday Buffalo called TE Gerald Christian up from the practice squad as insurance in the event that Clay was unavailable. Christian, who has been on the active roster once before this season, has a greater working knowledge of the offense than Logan Thomas, who just signed this week. Thomas is also inactive today.'

Marker Everything you need to know for Bills-Raiders, plus five things to watch for [9:55 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'How does Kevon Seymour hold up on the outside? The rookie cornerback from Southern California is in line to make his second career start, but the first came in the slot. This time, Seymour will be on the outside, in place of the injured Ronald Darby. In Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree, the Raiders have a pair of solid outside receivers. Bills coach Rex Ryan asks a lot of his cornerbacks in terms of being able to play man coverage, so it will be interesting to see how Seymour holds up in that role.'

Marker Buffalo facing tough Raiders road test [9:53 AM]
Olean Times Herald reports: 'But here’s the sobering reality. The Bills could win their last seven, finish 11-5, and still miss the playoffs.'
