Marker Bills beat Vikings 17-16 on Watkins 2-yard catch [1:25 AM]
AP reports: 'The touchdown capped a 15-play, 80-yard drive which Orton extended by converting a fourth-and-20 and a third-and-12. Orton set up the decisive score with a 28-yard pass to Chris Hogan at the Vikings 2.'

Marker Bills show resolve in rallying to beat Vikings [1:24 AM]
AP reports: 'Here are a number of things that stood out in a game in which the Bills improved to 3-0 against NFC North opponents this season...',

Marker Bills' Jackson, Spiller hurt against Vikings [1:23 AM]
AP reports: 'The injuries depleted Buffalo's backfield to third-string running back Anthony Dixon and fullback Frank Summers. Running back Bryce Brown was inactive to start the game.'

Marker Bills receiver Mike Williams active against Vikes [1:22 AM]
AP reports: 'The move comes a week after Williams' agent, Hadley Engelhard, was granted permission to seek a trade after the receiver was inactive in a 37-22 loss to New England. The Bills (3-3) do have a spot to fill at receiver with Marquise Goodwin out with an ankle injury.'

Marker Buffalo 17, Minnesota 16 [1:21 AM]
The Sports Network reports: 'The prospect of the Bills winning appeared dim when Orton was sacked at the Buffalo 40 on third down. However, the veteran quarterback converted a 4th- and-20 with a 24-yard pass to Scott Chandler.'

Marker Bills lose Jackson, Spiller to injuries [1:20 AM]
The Sports Network reports: 'The team ruled out both players for the rest of the game, leaving Anthony Dixon as the only available option in the backfield.'

Marker Bills beat Vikings on last-second TD [1:19 AM]
The Sports Xchange reports: 'Buffalo won despite turning the ball over four times.'

Marker Bills-Vikings: What we learned [1:18 AM]
The Sports Xchange reports: 'The Bills were deeper at running back than any other position before this game. No longer.'

Marker Bills lose RBs Jackson, Spiller [1:17 AM]
The Sports Xchange reports: 'Spiller, who also was taken to the locker room on a cart, could miss the rest of the season with a broken collarbone. He was in tears when he left the field.'

Marker Bills Edge Vikings 17-16 [1:16 AM]
WGR-AM reports: 'After a stagnant performance throughout the entire fourth quarter, the Bills offense finally awoke on the final drive, completing a 4th and 20 to Scott Chandler and an oustanding completion to Chris Hogan at the two yard line. Those plays set up a sideline end zone pass to Sammy Watkins for his second TD of the game, including the game winner.'

Marker Observations: Bills 17 - Vikings 16 [1:15 AM]
WGR-AM reports: 'As one rookie shined, another was the worst player on the field between both the Bills and the Vikings. Fifth-round draft pick and left guard Cyril Richardson has struggled since being inserted into the lineup for the injured Chris Williams, and might have had his worst game of his young career against the Minnesota Vikings.'

Marker Survive And Advance [1:14 AM]
WGR-AM reports: 'These really are the worst kinds of games for fans to sink their teeth into. We're pretty sure Minnesota isn't that good so beating them doesn't impress that much. Because of that, if the Bills had lost this game it would have been open season on just about everyone from Doug Marrone to the kickoff specialist.'

Marker The Bills use Watkins and they win [1:13 AM]
WGR-AM reports: 'As bad as the Bills played, they left the stadium 4-3. It doesn’t matter if they won 40-0 or played as sloppy as possible and won 17-16, the record is still 4-3. Two bad performances doesn’t change the fact the the season is still out there for them. Coming up are games against the Jets, Kansas City, Miami, the Jets and Cleveland. If they somehow overcome the coaching and the undisciplined play, they could be in great shape heading into Denver on December 7.'

Marker Bills get miraculous win [1:11 AM]
WGR-AM reports: 'This was a text book definition of an ugly win but it still counts in the standings no matter how bad it was. On paper, this looked to be the easiest game left on the Bills schedule and yet they were seconds away from a third straight defeat at home. If the Bills are to contend for a playoff spot, they had to have this game as they are in the "soft" part of their schedule. If you go by current records, the Bills don't face a team with a winning record until Denver on December 7th in week 14.'

Marker Orton’s heroics save Bills season [1:10 AM]
WROC-TV reports: 'COACHING: Can cut them some slack because of the losses of Jackson and Spiller, but there are times when Hackett is way too predictable and way too conservative. Jim Schwartz’s unit looked lame against the run, yielding 103 yards to rookie Jerick McKinnon. In his post-game press conference, Marrone sounded as if he had lost the game. He’s right when he says there’s a ton of work to do. C.'

Marker Immediate Reactions: Buffalo Bills 17, Minnesota Vikings 16 [1:09 AM]
NickMendola.com reports: 'Watkins was back to his super self. He’s just that sort of athlete you look at and marvel, as if to say, “They make people like this?” He’s like an alien.'

Marker Bills Pull Out 17-16 Win Over Vikings [1:08 AM]
Bills Daily reports: Kyle Orton hit Sammy Watkins for a two yard touchdown pass with :01 left to lift the Bills to a 17-16 win over the Vikings at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Orton hit Chris Hogan for a 28 yard catch to the two as the clock was running out. Earlier in the drive Orton found Scott Chandler on 4th and 20 to keep the drive alive. Orton also hit Watkins for a 26 yard touchdown to give the Bills a short lived 7-3 lead in the first half. Blair Walsh hit field goals from 40, 55, and 33 yards that gave the Vikings the edge most of the way until the Bills final drive.

Marker Bills get one point win with one tick on the clock [1:07 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: 'The Bills offense waited until the waning moments to snatch a victory from the jaws of defeat Sunday. With one second remaining Kyle Orton found Sammy Watkins on the left sideline for a two-yard touchdown catch. Dan Carpenter’s extra point lifted Buffalo to a 17-16 win.'

Marker Sammy Watkins dominant in win over Vikings [1:06 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: '“I was just out there playing,” he said. “We just look at film, watch those guys and see what they do. I think we had a great plan. We just executed on offense and we took advantage of what they were giving us.”'

Marker Bills lose Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller to injury [1:05 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: 'Both Jackson and Spiller were visibly upset as they were driven off the field. Jackson was holding his head in his right hand, while Spiller put his hand over his face with a towel draped over his head.'

Marker What they're saying: Bills react to the win over the Vikings [1:04 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: 'We’ve just got to get better, I think everybody did a better job this week of getting right to work, being focused, being ready to go on Wednesday. Obviously we didn’t hang on to the football like we wanted to, but I thought from an execution standpoint we did some good things. Any time you’ve got a young team and a young offense you’re going to have some growing pains. We’re going to continue to get better and continue to win games.'

Marker Fred Jackson suffers groin injury, leaves Vikings game [1:03 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: 'On what appeared to be a harmless carry off the right side on a 3rd-and-1 near the end of the third quarter, Jackson fell and reached for his right groin area.'

Marker Van Miller honored as 29th member of Bills Wall of Fame [1:02 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: 'Seeing my name on the Wall of Fame next to football giants leaves me more than humbled; thank you to the entire Bills organization for this tremendous privilege."'

Marker Mike Williams up, Marquise Goodwin down on Bills-Vikings inactive list [1:01 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: 'A pair of receivers were the notable names listed on the Bills gameday inactives.'

Marker Hackett maintains his resolve [1:59 AM]
Buffalo News reports: '“Even when you win, you didn’t win right,” Hackett said. “When you lose, it’s how you lost. It’s part of this game. It’s what we signed up for. That’s why I love it. It’s about getting better every week, making the guys feel better and make plays.”'

Marker Bills have good opportunity to get under Bridgewater’s skin [1:58 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'Bills 30, Vikings 16.'

Marker Bills’ Brandon excited about future under Pegulas’ ownership [1:57 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'But Brandon has been the architect of the Bills’ business platform, and the team just sold for a record-smashing $1.4 billion. He was involved in striking the stadium lease agreement with Erie County and has overseen two stadium renovations that came in on time and on budget. He was behind the successful move of training camp to St. John Fisher College, his alma mater.'
