Marker Buffalo and Baltimore Meet for 2nd Time [4:07 PM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: 'The Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens have only met once in the Ravens short nine year history, but Buffalo will look to capture the same result they did five years ago when they won 13-10. Baltimore went on the win the Super Bowl the next season led by one of history's most dominant defenses. The unit hasn't had much of a drop-off the past few seasons so the Bills offense will have their hands full.'

Marker Gray Receives Contract Extension [4:06 PM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: 'Gray, who directed the Bills defense to a second-place ranking in 2003, is currently in his fourth season in Buffalo.'

Marker Vincent Highlights Student Leaders Meeting [4:06 PM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: 'The Buffalo Bills Student Leaders were given valuable first hand experience Wednesday Oct. 6 from various Community Relations speakers. The second meeting of the year was highlighted by presentations from Tom Donahoe, Gretchen Geitter, Michelle Roberts, Chris Lewis, Troy Vincent and Alicia Lamanna.'

Marker Bills extend defensive coordinator's contract [4:05 PM]

Marker Adams puts confrontation behind him [8:54 AM]
Buffalo News reports: '"We've talked, and I think that situation has been handled," said Bills coach Mike Mularkey.'

Marker Milloy should be back [8:54 AM]
Buffalo News reports: '"Nothing's holding me back," he said. "Last week was more of an introduction. I knew that going in. But this week is a good week."'

Marker Bills' Adams puts focus back on job after outburst [5:07 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'The Bills (1-4) play at Baltimore (3-2) on Sunday to take on a Ravens team that Adams helped to the 2000 Super Bowl title. After spending the 2002 season with Oakland, Adams tried to re-sign with the Ravens but was insulted by a low-ball offer by Baltimore before joining the Bills. "I don't like them. I've never liked them," said Adams, a two-time Pro Bowler. "They're my enemies right now. I won a championship with those guys but that doesn't mean a thing. When we put it on, on Sunday, I'm coming to prove something."'

Marker Milloy set for Bills debut [5:06 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'Milloy practiced on a limited basis last week, primarily to see what he could do. Wednesday, wearing a protective pad on his right forearm, Milloy participated fully, and while he's listed as questionable, it looks as if he'll have the green light. "We'll keep that as a surprise when we get out there, but things are looking very good," he said. "The bone is secure with the plate and the screws, but there's a risk that I could break it again, so it's a precautionary thing. Last week was more of an introduction, I knew that going in, but this week is a good week."'

Marker Back on track, McGahee is running again [5:05 AM]
Baltimore Sun reports: '"McGahee is talented, hitting the hole just as hard as Travis Henry," said Ravens cornerback Gary Baxter. "The only difference between the two is that Henry has more experience. They both run tough. Buffalo has two great backs, a nice one-two punch, and it's going to be a challenge for us."'

Marker True fans put loyalty ahead of team losses [5:03 AM]
Binghamton Press and Sun Bulletin reports: 'Following the Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bills has been the ultimate character builder. Not only are their losing seasons dismal, but sometimes even the winning seasons are devastating. When the Bills and Sabres falter, it is in spectacular, headline-grabbing fashion.'

Marker Inside slant [5:02 AM]
CBS Sportsline reports: 'Mularkey is receiving a lot of kudos for not deviating from the plan he concocted for the Bills and the personnel he inherited from Gregg Williams last off-season. Even when Wilson said he was tired of "smash-mouth" football, Mularkey stuck to the run against Miami, and wore the Dolphins down by controlling the ball a whopping 13:22 of the fourth quarter.'

Marker Strategy and personnel [5:01 AM]
CBS Sportsline reports: 'Gray said he didn't sit Adams to punish him or because he was playing poorly, although Miami ran the ball well in the first half. He did it because Edwards (four tackles, two sacks) got hot and he wasn't tiring. Gray said he wouldn't scrap his rotation system because he wants his defensive linemen to stay fresh and he also doesn't hold a grudge against Adams for confronting him. Adams, who was back with the first-unit defense on Wednesday, wasn't fined and there is a good dialogue going on.'

Marker Notes, quotes [5:00 AM]
CBS Sportsline reports: 'The Bills, who were averaging eight penalties per game, got it down to seven against Miami. The team began using two ex-Arena League referees at each of their practices last week. The refs toss flags at anything they see wrong. "We learned some things even in that game that happened with some of the calls (from practice). I see no negative about having these guys out there helping us out," coach Mike Mularkey said.'

Marker Bills' Milloy set for season debut; McGahee might start again [4:59 AM]
The Sports Network reports: 'Before this season, Milloy has started all but six games in his nine-year career with New England and Buffalo.'

Marker Milloy And Jennings Look Good To Play Against The Ravens [4:58 AM]
WGR-AM reports: 'Travis Henry practiced and his bad arch is questionable. Mularkey didn't think Henry looked all the way back yet, but felt it's the best he's looked since the injury happened against the Jets. Trey Teague rode the bike, but isn't expected to play and is doubtful. J.P. Losman and Troy Vincent are still out.'

Marker Buffalo (1-4) at Baltimore (3-2) [10:11 PM]
AP reports: 'Milloy's presence bolsters what's been a banged-up defensive backfield that will be minus starting cornerback Troy Vincent, who will miss his third straight game with a right knee injury.'

Marker Spikes Takes Time to Visit Children [10:07 PM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: '"Some of these kids haven't smiled all week and today they're grinning from ear to ear," said Deborah King, a child life specialist at the hospital. "We really enjoyed Takeo's visit. Seeing him gave the children incentive to get out of bed."'

Marker Moorman Earns AFC Special Team Honors [10:06 PM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: '"He's just reliable," said Head Coach Mike Mularkey. "Guys have confidence in him and it just seems that if we need a punt at a critical time he's come through with it."'

Marker Adams Responds to Benching [10:04 PM]
RNews.com reports: '“What I was pulled for is a family affair. We keep those things in house,” Adams said. “But it had nothing to do with my performance and it had nothing to do with play time.”'

Marker Bills DT Adams puts frustrations aside, focuses on Ravens [10:03 PM]
AP reports: 'Adams played down what happened, saying, ''We keep those things in-house.'' Except for calling it ''a passionate game,'' he wouldn't say what led to the outburst.'

Marker Bills S Milloy prepared to make season debut against Ravens [5:11 PM]
AP reports: 'Bills running back Willis McGahee could get his second consecutive start after Travis Henry remains listed as questionable with a sprained left foot. Henry practiced on Wednesday, but still appeared to be limping.'

Marker 8,000 Tickets Remain for Bills-Cardinals [3:47 PM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: 'The game must be sold-out before Thursday, October 28th at 1:00 pm for the game to be seen in the local television markets.'

Marker Campbell sees spike in TDs [8:50 AM]
Buffalo News reports: '"It's a good habit to have, huh?" said Campbell, who caught just one touchdown last season and had just five in his previous five years in the NFL. "It feels good to know you're a part of the offense."'

Marker Bills have something to build on [6:48 AM]
Lockport Union Sun and Journal reports: 'A win over Miami didn’t rid the Bills of all their problems. The Bills are 2-8 in their last 10 road games. They haven’t scored a rushing touchdown in almost eight games. The offense is ranked 27th overall in the NFL, but beating the Dolphins was a good first step. Now the Bills have to keep going forward. Losing to the Ravens may not be taking a step back — but at this point, standing still isn’t good enough, either.'

Marker Henry, Adams Stay Put On Deadline Day [6:47 AM]
WGR-AM reports: 'Despite the wishes of some Bills fans, the team was silent on the final day to make trades. Both RB Travis Henry and DT Sam Adams, deemed expendable by some following last Sunday's win, were not moved before the deadline.'

Marker Bills tackling problem of Childhood obesity [6:46 AM]
WGRZ-TV reports: 'The team has "adopted" school 89 in Buffalo as part of an "Eat Right and Exercise" program. Each month, members of the organization go to the school and talk with the K-8 students about the importance of healthy eating and getting plenty of exercise.'

Marker Solid Performance Leads to Victory [6:39 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: 'The offensive line was very impressive, especially since they were down two quality starters. Trey Teague may be the best lineman this team has and Ross Tucker was able to step in and fill that void. Ross started a lot of games for us last year and it's times like this that show why you have those types of guys on your team.'

Marker Flashback: Bills Use Defense to Top Ravens [6:39 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: 'While Buffalo won the game, 13-10, in all honesty, the Hall of Fame didn't rush in to save anything from the Bills' first and only trip to PSINet, now M&T Bank Stadium. Actually, perhaps it was appropriate that the game was played on Halloween, because both team's offenses were downright scary.'
