Marker Vince Young to work out for Bills [5:33 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'Young's experience and great mobility could be attractive to Bills coach Chan Gailey. The Bills' incumbent backup is Tyler Thigpen, who hardly played last year. He saw only mop-up duty in a loss at San Diego, completing 2-of-6 passes.'

Marker Kelsay won't yield No. 90 to Mario [5:32 AM]
Buffalo News reports: '"The team told us something would need to be decided on fairly soon," Kelsay said. "I spoke with Mario. I actually brought it up to him, he didn't bring it up to me. He completely understood."'

Marker Quarterback Young gets a look with Bills [5:31 AM]
Toronto Sun reports: 'Young is 31-19 in his career as a starter.'

Marker Bills should be cautious on Young [5:30 AM]
Toronto Sun reports: 'To put it bluntly, the word inside the NFL is that Young has a poor work ethic. In Tennessee he was a me-first player, blind to his own culpability for his misfortunes as an NFLer. And that while he accepted his backup role in Philly last year, he still said dumb things and regressed on the field.'

Marker A change in plans for Alex Tanney [5:29 AM]
Monmouth Daily Review Atlas reports: '"I'm just trying to enjoy the whole experience," Tanney said. "It's been up and down emotionally. You have teams call you and you get excited. It was hectic. I'm just ready to get settled down, get to work and fight for a spot."'

Marker Tanney audibles, to try out with Bills [5:28 AM]

WGR-AM reports: 'Patience doesn't last forever. The time is coming where the Bills have to make good on the excitement they've created. Fans have waited long enough.'

Marker Gushing Over Gilmore [5:24 AM]
WGR-AM reports: '“He’s probably the most competitive young man I’ve ever coached” Ward said. “I’ve been blessed to coach some pretty good football players, some that have played in the league(NFL) for quite some time. D’Angelo Hall was a young man I was blessed to coach at Virginia Tech and even when I was in the pros(Oakland in 2006) I was able to coach Nnamdi Asomugha. I think Gilmore is right in those two guys class.”'

Marker QB Vince Young to work out for Bills [5:23 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: 'The former number three overall pick in the 2006 NFL draft, Young is being viewed strictly as a potential backup quarterback option for the Bills.'

Marker Bills Filled Big Holes In Draft [12:28 PM]
BillsDaily.com reports: 'We gave the draft a B+ grade as we feel they hit their needs for the most part. It will be up to the coaching staff to teach Glenn to play left tackle at this level and to get Wright to play on the outside consistently. If that can happen the depth chart looks much better today than it did last week.'

Marker Glenn and Bills line coach a good fit [8:24 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: '“It’s always good to get a good player and all the players we selected were good, but we targeted Cordy and I watched a lot of tape on him and we reviewed him and went back and analyzed him again and then went and analyzed him some more,” said D’Alessandris. “To see us get that kind of caliber player at that time I was excited because I know he’s going to make our offensive line better.”'

Marker 'Experts' give Bills OK marks [4:41 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'The Bills were not named as one of the top five or six big winners of the draft by evaluators who ranked the league, but virtually all the national media outlets gave Buffalo a grade of B or better.'

Marker Bills add strong safety from Stanford [4:40 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'Howell was a first-team All-Pac 12 Conference pick at strong safety in 2011 despite missing three games with a hand injury. He made seven interceptions and was a three-year starter for the Cardinal, starting 33 games overall. Howell, 5-foot-11 and 210 pounds, ran a 4.65-second time in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine, but improved the time to about 4.55 seconds at Stanford's pro day in March. He won the team's the Jack Huston Award, given to the player who best exemplifies aggressiveness, exceptional performance and unheralded efforts. ESPN analyst Mel Kiper had Howell rated 11th among all safeties in the draft. "He plays faster than he times, and he has very good instincts," Kiper said.'

Marker Letchworth grad Buttles to get tryout with Bills [4:39 AM]

Marker Minor surgery for Bills' Johnson [4:38 AM]
Toronto Sun reports: '"Stevie had so many things going on -- his shoulder, his groin -- that he was playing through," Fitzpatrick told QMI Agency. "To see (him) limping around and trying to get through practice even -- that motivates me. And that motivates other guys to go out there and give it our best as well."'

Marker Brown's Tounkara-Kone signs with Bills [4:37 AM]
Providence Journal reports: 'The 6-4, 220-pound Beligian native had never played football before attending high school in Staten Island, N.Y. He was a two-time All-Ivy selection at Brown and finished 10th all-time in receptions (110) and 11th in receiving yards (1,381).'

Marker Bills sign Peachtree Ridge's Douglas [4:36 AM]

Marker Gilmore wears family proudly [8:17 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: '“I would go work out in my backyard,” he said. “I didn’t mind watching my sisters and brother. I have a great family. They’ve always been there for me. A real close family.”'

Marker Bills sign Richmond passer [4:27 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'Corp has good size -- at 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds -- a decent arm and good straight-ahead speed. What he did not have was much good fortune after joining Southern Cal as a five-star recruit in 2007. Corp picked the Trojans over Arizona, Arizona State, California, Colorado, Nebraska and Oregon. After red-shirting for a season, Corp sat behind Mark Sanchez in 2008.'

Marker Grading the draft is guesswork [4:26 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'The whole draft hinges on Georgia's Cordy Glenn. If he develops into a better-than-average left tackle, this is an A-plus, because CB Stephon Gilmore is going to be good, and the Bills got quality depth in corner Ron Brooks and linebackers Nigel Bradham and Tank Carder. It would be nice if at least one of those two LBs develops into a good starter. It's up to the coaches to develop WR T.J. Graham into a useful pro, but wideouts take time.'
