Marker 12 opinions on the MSG-Pegula Sports deal [1:57 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'PSE’s Mark Preisler and the Bills’ Marc Honan believe the move of John Murphy’s WGR radio show on the Bills to noon to 3 p.m. from nights will enable Murphy and a new co-host to get more players and coaches to guest on the program being aired live from studios at Ralph Wilson Stadium.'

Marker Keep the Ralph? The cost of a new stadium to Bills fans [1:56 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'But even then, with the threat of the team moving out of town if those seats weren’t sold, there were whispers that a new stadium might have been a smarter play than gussying up what soon became known as Ralph Wilson Stadium. And through the years, those whispers grew louder and louder to the point where, when the next major renovation plan was put into motion, there was clear opposition. Some of it was local, but most of it emanated from other NFL owners who thought it was foolhardy to spend more money on a stadium entering its fifth decade of existence.'

Marker Marcell Dareus' contract advice to Stephon Gilmore: Be patient and do your job [1:55 AM]
Syracuse Post Standard reports: '"He's got to understand that it's a business and you've got to be patient," Dareus said. "You have to be patient, you can't just be like this, like that. You still have a job. You still have a job. Do your job and just come to be patient. Let things fall as they may."'

Marker Deal adds Buffalo Bills content, keeps Sabres games on MSG Networks [1:54 AM]
Syracuse Post Standard reports: 'MSG also has the right to carry any of the Pegula Sports-produced programs in areas beyond Western New York where it is carried, meaning the programs could air in Syracuse.'

Marker Marquise Goodwin Is Making the Jump [1:53 AM]
SI reports: '“I know it is a risk,” Goodwin says. “I want a second contract. I’d love it to be in Buffalo. I love football. But I know how important it is to live your life like you want to. I know some organizations wouldn’t allow that, but Rex [Ryan] does and I’m so appreciative of that.”'

Marker Bills make changes in personnel department and training staff [1:52 AM]
WGR-AM reports: 'Pete Harris has been promoted to College Area Scout. Harris, who is entering his ninth season with the Bills, spent the past three seasons as the team’s BLESTO Scout. He spent time as a scouting assistant for the team during the 2011 and 2012 seasons.'

Marker Bills announce changes in player personnel department [1:51 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: 'Kelvin Fisher has been named Player Personnel Advisor. Prior to coming to Buffalo in 2013, Fisher spent 13 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers after joining the team in 2000.'

Marker Bills announce promotions in athletic training staff [1:50 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: 'Bud Carpenter has been promoted to Director of Athletic Training Operations. Carpenter is entering his 32nd season with the Bills and served the past 21 years as the team's head athletic trainer. He was recently selected to the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame. Carpenter, who originally joined the team in 1985, attended St. Bonaventure and SUNY Fredonia.'

Marker Offseason addition Corey White recommended by Rob Ryan [1:49 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: '“I can play pretty much any position: secondary, nickel, corner, free safety, strong safety, dom,” he said in the final day of mandatory minicamp. “That’s what we did with me in New Orleans when I was with Rob, so that’s what I’m here for. Just be that guy that can help out in any position.”'

Marker At right tackle for Bills, it looks like Jordan Mills' job to lose [1:59 AM]
Buffalo News reports: '"Right now, it's a case where Seantrel's sick and Mills has started at Chicago for me and started for us this year," offensive line coach Aaron Kromer said. "He's doing a solid job. He understands what to do and how to do it."'

Marker Zoo visit gives Bills rookies a chance to be kids again [1:58 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'The event was part of the new NFL Rookie Transition Program hosted by each of the 32 clubs for drafted and undrafted rookies. The program replaces the Rookie Symposium, which was held in a central location (most recently in Ohio) and was open only to drafted rookies. The new program, which has the players hearing all sorts of cautionary tales about life as an NFL player, runs through this week, providing the rookies a chance to get to learn more about the communities in which they play and to give back.'

Marker Dezmin Lewis gains ground, Karlos Williams gains weight, Tyrod Taylor shines [1:57 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'EJ Manuel and Cardale Jones both struggled in the practices open to the media. Manuel threw multiple pick-sixes and was hesitant in 7-on-7 drills, a familiar sight. Jones unleashed one eye-popping throw deep, yet floated several passes high and short in addition to footwork problems in other drills. One play, he smashed into his fullback. Jones is clearly a project. Granted, a lot of teams would be waving the white flag if their starting QB went down but the back-up plan is especially worrisome here in Buffalo.'

Marker Vic Carucci's Bills Wake Up Call: If it can happen in Cleveland ... [1:56 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'If nothing else, the hope might feel a little more real than it did before. For many people, that will do. For now.'

Marker Familiarity pushes Bills QBs forward [1:54 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: '“There’s a good reason he’s here,” said Lee of Manuel. “He’s here because we still believe in him. The general manager believes in him, the head coach believes in him, I believe in him, Greg does. He’s got a big arm. He’s one of the finest people I’ve ever met in my life. He’s such a great person, and he studies he does everything right.'

Marker Bills WR Watkins expects to be ready for camp [1:59 AM]
TSN reports: '“For training camp, I think I’ll definitely be available,” Watkins told TSN.ca. “I might sit out two or three days. It’s all about how I feel within those days. The goal is to come back and be prepared for training camp.”'

Marker WR Dez Lewis: Pray more, worry less [1:58 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: '“It’s always good to be big and use my size to my advantage, so that’s the main thing. Just trying to stay big,” Lewis said. “My main thing is to give (the coaches) options, so that’s why I continue to stay in the weight room over the offseason and workout.”'

Marker A vote to stick with Rex [1:59 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'You can roll your eyes and shake your head. You can sigh, smirk, sneer, sniff, spit. Do whatever you like to express your disgust because your football purity has been violated by the suggestion a coach should stick around simply because he's great copy. But that's exactly what Rex is, and it's exactly what those of us who are expected to produce more and more Bills content need. Desperately.'

Marker Reggie Ragland has plans for his NFL break: Keep working [1:58 AM]
Birmingham News reports: '"This is the most important time for football players, especially in the NFL," Ragland said. "During the break, the guys who are going to stay disciplined are the ones that are normally successful during the season. So you've got to stay disciplined, get the extra cardio in, make sure you're ready for the conditioning test. Because when training camp comes, the next thing you know, a couple of weeks of training camp you're right into the preseason, and once the preseason's over, there goes the season."'

Marker Athletic TE Blake Annen making his presence felt [1:56 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: '“He’s a very gifted athlete,” said Bills tight ends coach Tony Sparano Jr. “His speed, his athleticism are there for all to see. But the fact that he’s able to pair that with his work ethic and with being as coachable as he is and being a student of the game that he is, is why I’m a big believer in his ability and his potential.”'

Marker Q&A with Bills QB Tyrod Taylor: 'I play this game to be one of the greatest players to ever [1:59 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'I’m just trying to better myself. At the end of the day, I play this game to be one of the greatest players to ever play. I have goals for myself and I feel I can meet those goals if I do the things necessary. I take it one day at a time, just keeping a level head. Never getting too high. That’s what I did last year—never getting too high, never getting too low. Just staying even keel through all situations.'

Marker Rex & Rob Ryan go viral ... on a tandem bicycle [1:58 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'You probably have seen the tweet.'

Marker Gilmore standoff, Rex's psychology & Reed's read [1:57 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'But the point is, the Bills don't have to go to wall for Gilmore. Nor should they. He's a top-level cornerback, a critical component of a defense that requires its corners to constantly play man-to-man coverage. But just because he wants to use Norman as the standard for his salary doesn't mean the Bills have to.'

Marker Bills' Ryan is selling title hopes in summer ... again [1:56 AM]
Erie Times News reports: 'He's dressing up average and calling it exceptional. It's a lot of hot air floating even more hope.'

Marker Offensive tackle signed by Bills after minicamp tryout [1:55 AM]
AP reports: 'Renfrow was one of seven players the Bills brought in on a tryout basis to their three-day mandatory practices, which ended Thursday.'

Marker Bills add T Renfrow to roster [1:54 AM]
The Sports Xchange reports: 'Buffalo also designated safety Phillip Thomas as waived/injured.'

Marker Bills Top 20 Talents in 2016: No. 1 - WR Sammy Watkins [1:53 AM]
WKBW-TV reports: 'The Sammy Watkins watch will be on during the summer at St. John Fisher College. Watkins underwent offseason foot surgery and the Bills have yet to release a firm timetable as to when he's expected back in action. The Bills don't believe he's in any jeopardy of missing time in the regular season, but at the very least, it's a situation worth tracking. Once he's back on the field, Watkins hopes to combine with starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor to top the marks they had together over the final nine games in 2015. If they can recapture the magic, the sky is the limit for Watkins in 2016.'

Marker Bills Top 20 Talents in 2016: No. 2 - DL Marcell Dareus [1:52 AM]
WKBW-TV reports: 'For Dareus, it's a bit of a scheme switch for him in the upcoming season. However, with how the Bills have shown through minicamp that they're going to make their defensive linemen essentially interchangeable, Dareus won't be stuck at either nose tackle or at five-technique defensive end. Instead, they can find the weakness on an opponent's offensive line, stick Dareus there and exploit it all game if they so choose. With a healthier and talented front-seven around him, expect a few more flash plays from Dareus in the upcoming season.'

Marker Bills Top 20 Talents in 2016: No. 3 - CB Stephon Gilmore [1:51 AM]
WKBW-TV reports: 'Following the conclusion of minicamp, the outlook for Stephon Gilmore this season is looking a little murky. Clearly not happy with only a one-year contract, Gilmore abstained from all 10 session of Organized Team Activities, and only watched practice from the sidelines during the three-day, mandatory minicamp. He even hinted that he might hold out from training camp if the two sides don't have a new deal in place. The short-term isn't looking good for Gilmore. However, if/when he gets back on the field, he's immediately one of the best the Bills have.'
