Marker McGahee arrives ready to roll [8:57 AM]
Buffalo News reports: '"I think I'm excited for him just to see him come in here and not have to wonder if he's healthy, should we pace him," Mularkey said. "It's full-speed ahead, and I think that's good for all of us on offense."'

Marker Evans strives to keep his promises on and off the field [8:56 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'That's the beauty of the Bills' receiving corps. Where, exactly, should the opposing defense place its emphasis? Moulds caught 88 passes last season, the third-highest total of his career. Parrish has a game breaker's quickness. Willis McGahee is a danger coming out of the backfield. Toss in a seasoned Evans, and it's a group threatening to take a lot of teams to school.'

Marker Miami partisans get carried away [8:56 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'In Miami's two losses to Buffalo last year it was largely a matter of the Bills' defense recording seven takeaways in those games. When the Bills won in Buffalo, mobile Jay Fiedler, now a Jet, was sacked five times. Fiedler and Feeley were sacked 52 times last season. To help cut down that number, Saban hired one of the NFL's better offensive line coaches, Hudson Houck.'

Marker The billboard [8:55 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'The Bills will hold one practice today at 2:45 p.m.'

Marker Gandy is feeling dandy with Buffalo Bills [5:08 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: '"I understand the importance of the position and what it takes to succeed at this level," he said, walking off the field after an autograph session. "I know it's a big responsibility but it's a challenge I'm taking in full stride. I have confidence in myself and that's all I can ask for."'

Marker Parrish takes runs with Bills' first unit [5:07 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'Parrish is wearing No. 11, worn last by departed quarterback Drew Bledsoe. Why 11? "I wanted No. 1, but I couldn't have it, and this was close," Parrish said.'

Marker McGahee the key to Bills' success [5:06 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'He feels better mentally and emotionally, too. With Henry traded to Tennessee, the distractions have been removed. McGahee knows he is THE man, THE featured back.'

Marker Pundits predict Bills to finish in middle of AFC East pack [5:05 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'The Bills are picked to finish second in the division by three publications, third by six and fourth by one.'

Marker Bills fans carry high hopes team will end 5-year playoff drought [5:04 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: '"My husband and I have two full houses decorated with Bills stuff and we can't help but be excited for this season."'

Marker Yep, we're ready for football [5:03 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'They rolled out the red carpet Saturday for the Buffalo Bills. Literally.'

Marker Training camp begins on an upbeat note [5:02 AM]
Niagara Gazette reports: '"It seems last year the way to get those games behind you is to play the next week, but there was no next week,” Vincent said. “We were so close, but so far away. But that was the ‘04 season and that’s behind us, this is 2005 and we have another opportunity."'

Marker Sold that QB's a Bill of good? [5:01 AM]
Boston Globe reports: '''The question is, is he ready?" said one AFC personnel man. ''I guess they believe that if Losman can make a play or two a game, he's worth the risk. Maybe he can give them more production in the red zone because he can move around and make something happen. They didn't ask Bledsoe to do much last year. Basically, it was a running offense with very little passing. I think they'll be conservative at first but if the kid shows he's comfortable out there, they'll turn him loose. He doesn't have a shortage of confidence and he can make every throw and make it on the run."'

Marker Drills, Bills part of Packers Family Night frills [5:00 AM]
Green Bay Press Gazette reports: 'Gates to the stadium open at 4 p.m. and on-field entertainment begins at 5:30 with the Oneida Nation Dancers and mascot games. The Packers and Bills will take to the field at 6 p.m. and run through various practice drills before kicking off the scrimmage around 7 p.m. A fireworks show will conclude the night.'

Marker Bills place Thomas on PUP list [4:59 AM]
AP reports: '``He's on the PUP list until he gets healed up a little better,'' Buffalo coach Mike Mularkey said Saturday night.'

Marker Bills Wrap Up Day One at SJF [4:58 AM] reports: 'The packed house was treated to some big plays by the Buffalo offense; something the defensive unit wasn't too pleased about. "Defensively, as a player, once you hear the crowd scream for an offensive player, the next play you're coming back to the huddle saying that shouldn't be happening," said Linebacker Takeo Spikes.'

Marker Bills Training Camp Underway [4:57 AM] reports: 'The camp has been a win for both the team and the college. Since the Bills started holding camp at Fisher six years ago, the school's enrollment has increased 30 percent.'

Marker Bills Kick Off Training Camp [4:56 AM]
WGR-AM reports: 'The only other Bills injury happened during practice Saturday. The Bills right tackle Mike Williams was taken off the field with a back injury. Coach Mularkey says that Williams tweaked his back and that the injury is not serious. Williams was temporarily replaced by # 79 Dylan McFarland.'

Marker Bills Start Off Camp With Two Practices [4:55 AM]

Marker Thousands cheer on the Buffalo Bills at the Welcome Home Celebration in Pittsford [4:54 AM]
WHEC-TV reports: 'One by one players strolled the red carpet high-fiving their fans. Many of the faces were new to Bills fans but one face fans clearly noticed, quarterback J.P. Losman. The new starting quarterback even took some ribbing from team General Manager Tom Donahoe. “It's great to see all the kids and all the fans come out today we apologize we were a couple of minutes late because JP had to go buy a long pair of pants,” Bills GM Donahoe said jokingly.'

Marker Fresh Start for Bills [4:53 AM] reports: '"I think the Super Bowl is everybody's goal, I hope," head coach Mike Mularkey admitted the media as the players reported on Friday. "In this league, I'm sure it is. I'm not afraid to talk about it. I've addressed it to these guys. That is what we're shooting for. With that, we'll bring all the little things along with it. If we can get everyone paddling towards the same goal, everything else will fall into place - rewards and the other monetary things - we get those things by winning a championship. They know what our intent is going into this training camp."'

Marker Fans welcome back the Bills [8:28 PM]
WROC-TV reports: 'Since St. John Fisher started hosting the camp in 1999, thousands of people have come out each year to watch the Bills practice. Pittsford Town Supervisor Bill Carpenter said that with each year the event gets bigger and more organized, "I think it picks up the spirits of the community. The residents are really honored to be hosting the training camp. They enjoy having it here."'

Marker Tight End Pair Back to Work [6:01 PM] reports: '"It's just a long process," Euhus said. "Really there was no offseason. It was just rehab pretty much everyday. My wife and I got to take a short vacation (a cruise to the Bahamas, which Euhus says his wife 'shenagled' him into going) but other than that it was work, work and work. But you can see the whole process and now it's paying off. … It feels good to come back out and be playing again."'

Marker McGahee free of questions heading into new season [5:59 PM]
AP reports: '"I saw it in minicamp," Vincent said. "I know we weren't tackling, but we saw this guy buzz around, coming through holes, jumping over piles, running down the sideline pointing. You get the feeling that his confidence is back."'

Marker Parrish finds NFL life not so different from college [4:17 PM]
AP reports: '"When Roscoe gets his feet wet, we can put me in the slot and put him outside," said veteran Bills wide receiver Eric Moulds. "That will leave one of us in single coverage because there's no way they cannot double-team Lee Evans on the other side.'

Marker Morning camp report [2:56 PM]
The Stadium Wall reports: "The Offense squared off against the D for a twenty minute session of 11 on 11. It is safe to say the Defense dominated this session. JP was sacked numerous times (well...would have been sacked, he was never touched -- thank you Troy Vincent), threw a couple of really bad balls that would have been picks (Clements dropped two that I saw). However, Willis and the running game looked great during this time. But, it's difficult to say how much that means since it wasn't full contact."

Marker Losman gets down to business [2:22 PM]
Buffalo News reports: '"I'm very confident in him," said second-year wide receiver Lee Evans. "He's put in a lot of work time during this offseason, from working out to studying film. I think he knows what to do. It's just about coming out here and doing it and using all of his potential on the field."'

Marker Parrish agrees to $2.7 million contract [2:21 PM]
Buffalo News reports: 'Rosenhaus said the good relationship he's had with Bills President and General Manager Tom Donahoe over the years allowed the two sides to hammer out a deal.'

Marker It's all business now for Losman [5:12 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: '"Everybody has faith in him, and as long as he has faith in himself, I feel he can't be stopped," said McGahee, who returns as the Bills' starting running back after replacing the departed Travis Henry. "I don't think it'll take him long. J.P. is going to come along probably by the second or third preseason game, he just needs time under his belt. He didn't get much time last year, but he knows what he has to do. He has to step up, just as I had to step up."'

Marker Parrish avoids a holdout [5:11 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: '"I think you have to be here from the get-go," said coach Mike Mularkey, who is counting on the explosive Parrish to add some punch to his 25th-ranked offense. "Installation is faster than in mini-camp, especially for rookies with the pads going on and the tempo of practice picking up. Any time missed, even the run test, to me it puts a player behind. So it's great he's going to be in here, and it's one less thing we have to worry about."'

Marker Donahoe's detractors need a refresher [5:11 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'He inherited a team in salary-cap hell and was forced to make some unpopular player cuts to get the franchise back on a sound financial path.'
