And he did it in spite of constant uncertainty at the QB position. With Drew Bledsoe added to the mix, Jay stands to raise those averages, but only if the recipe still calls for Riemersma.

This amount of cap space hardly necessitates the release of any players being talked about like John Fina, let alone Jay Riemersma.
