Marker LSU CB Tre'Davious White drafted by Buffalo Bills No. 27 overall at NFL Draft [1:29 AM]
New Orleans Times Picayune reports: 'White, a 5-foot-11, 192-pound Shreveport native, was valued for his experience after starting 47 games in four seasons at LSU. He returned for his senior season and finished with 167 tackles, six interceptions and 39 passes defended. He scored three TDs on punt returns and another on an interception return.'

Marker Bills add picks and character in selecting LSU DB White [1:28 AM]
AP reports: 'And the Bills had such confidence in the 22-year-old White that they took the calculated risk of passing up a shot to select Ohio State cornerback Marshon Lattimore with the 10th pick and instead move down 17 spots in making a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs. In exchange, Buffalo acquired the Chiefs' third-round pick, 91st overall, and their first-round pick next year.'

Marker Bills get a B+ for selecting Tre'Davious White No. 27 [1:27 AM]
CBS Sports reports: 'The Bills were really hurting at the cornerback position after losing Stephon Gilmore and Nickell Robey-Coleman, but this goes a long way to fixing that need. White isn't a big cornerback (5-foot-11, 190 pounds), but what he lacks in size he more than makes up for with elite feet and loose hips. He has the type of lockdown potential to take away an opponent's No. 1 receiver. If there's a knock against him, it's that he's not much of a tackler and can disappear in run support.'

Marker Bills take cornerback White with 27th pick [1:26 AM]
WGR-AM reports: 'With the 27th overall pick, the Bills select Tre'Davious White out of LSU. White, 22, is smaller in stature at 5' 11" and 191-pounds, but put up some productive numbers with the Tigers. In his four years in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, White registered 167 combined tackles with eleven of them for a loss. White also put up 1.5 sacks while coming up with six interceptions, one touchdown, and 34 passes defended.'

Marker Bills pass on plenty of talent to make big trade [1:25 AM]
WGR-AM reports: 'The biggest knock on White in college was his lack of physicality. Some scouts said he didn’t stick his nose in as a tackler as often or hard as he could have. Interesting given McDermott said at the NFL owner’s meetings in March that his defense would be built around cornerbacks who can tackle. Bills fans remember Stephon Gilmore dodging tackles all-too-well on his way to a big pay day with the Patriots.'

Marker 10 things I think about the NFL Draft [1:24 AM]
WGR-AM reports: 'Patrick Mahomes could flame out and never be a starting caliber quarterback in the NFL. But of all the QBs in this class, he has the best chance to be great. He’s the ultimate high boom-high bust potential QB.'

Marker Bills draft LSU corner Tre'Davious White 27th overall [1:23 AM]
WKBW-TV reports: 'When asked on Twitter most fans approved of the move by the Bills while those who didn’t cited a need to “win now” and get an “impact player at 10” to help the franchise snap a 17-year postseason drought.'

Marker Bills add experienced, principled cover man in White [1:22 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: '“I really felt good about the pick of Tre’Davious White,” said McDermott. “A solid person, solid football player. A guy we had on our board. We felt like if we could get him he’d be a good pick for us.”'

Marker 5 things to know about CB Tre'Davious White [1:21 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: 'In White’s senior season he was the most difficult cornerback to pass against. According to ProFootballFocus he allowed only 41.7 percent of his targets to be completed and he led the nation with a 90.5 overall grade.'

Marker Bills trade back to 27 in deal with Chiefs [1:20 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: 'Trade talks commenced with the Chiefs and other clubs right after the free agent market began to thin out according to McDermott. Kansas City GM John Dorsey and Bills GM Doug Whaley remained in constant contact throughout the week leading up to the draft Thursday night to ensure they remained on the same page.'

Marker Teams conducting healthy dialogue with Bills about 10th pick [1:19 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: '“It’s been ongoing,” said head coach Sean McDermott. “It’s exciting. Everything you read about, the fans see that’s what’s going on right now. We’ve had a lot of conversations. We are in a good spot, a healthy spot. We’re not too high and we’re not too low, so we like where we are. There are a lot of people trying to get into where we are, so we feel like we’re in a good spot right now.”'

Marker Bills Today: Thurman Thomas to announce Bills 2nd round pick [1:18 AM]
BuffaloBills.com reports: 'Another former Bills player will also be announcing the team’s third-round selection. Former safety Bryan Scott will step to the lectern to reveal Buffalo’s third-round pick Friday night.'

Marker It’s a different Bills dynamic on draft day [3:03 PM]

Buffalo News reports: '"And if you have two players at positions of need, who's the best player?" former Bills general manager, Hall-of-Famer, and current ESPN NFL analyst Bill Polian said. "And if everything is plus-plus and it's a tie, then who's the most likely to succeed. But I don't think at 10 you get there. At 10, even in this draft, where there's a lot of ifs, that's a guy most likely to succeed."'

Marker Tim Graham's Power Take: Bills scouting department overdue for overhaul [1:55 AM]

Marker Jay Skurski's final mock draft: Bills accomplish one of their goals [1:54 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'v13. Buffalo Bills (from Arizona). Mike Williams, WR, Clemson. With three quarterbacks gone – as well as Howard – the Bills stay true to their love of the ACC by taking Williams, who immediately takes over as the No. 2 receiver and provides some insurance in case Sammy Watkins isn’t able to stay healthy.'

Marker NFL Draft preview: New coaches usually get their way [1:53 AM]
Buffalo News reports: '“This is absolutely a team effort,” he said. “One hundred percent a team effort. Doug and I have had great meetings. He's keeping me abreast as to the situation, as far as evaluating the players. He and his staff line things up for us in a nice way so we can have productive, healthy meetings, so we can come up with the right players for this organization moving forward.”'

Marker Walt Patulski: Draft-bust label made him feel like 'a prisoner on death row' [1:52 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'When you Google Patulski, you won't see that, despite a contentious relationship with Bills coach Lou Saban and his arrival on a sorry defense, Patulski led the team with five sacks as a rookie in 1972 and recorded a career-high seven sacks.'

Marker 3 reasons the Bills should draft: Texas RB D'Onta Foreman [1:51 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'He moves well for a big man. Despite being 6-1, 233, Foreman's athleticism is described as "outstanding" by scouts. His size allows him to convert in short yardage, but he's got the speed to pull away from defenses. His stamina is excellent too – he rarely wore down despite a massive workload.'

Rochester D&C reports: 'So here we are again, another draft where the Bills have a bevy of needs that must be filled, and they can’t afford to whiff on any of the seven picks they currently have, especially in the first round whether they stay at No. 10 or move down.'

Marker Buffalo Bills draft memories: What a long strange trip it's been [1:48 AM]
Rochester D&C reports: 'I can divide this history of marketing hope and stoking Super Bowl dreams one weekend each year into two eras: Before Polian/Butler and After Polian/Butler.'

Marker Buffalo Bills scouts reportedly preparing for 'house cleaning' following NFL Draft [1:45 AM]
Syracuse Post Standard reports: 'Why would the Bills wait until now when some teams fired their general managers and other scouts after the season?
