Marker Levy: This Time, It's Good [6:52 AM]
Hartford Courant reports: '"Gratitude is the first one. Especially to the Hall of Fame selectors, but to everybody who made it possible. That includes the Buffalo Bills fans so much. They played such a key part to the thrilling decade that I spent there."'

Marker Bills' Levy is voted into Hall of Fame [6:22 AM]

D and C reports: '"You're clicking the remote and that damn lowlight comes up, and you pray that one freaking time that kick will hook just a few feet to the left," says Jim Kelly, the quarterback of all four Bills Super Bowl teams. "But it never does. It's always wide right." Then. Now. Forever.'

Boston Herald reports: Patriots owner Robert Kraft now has regrets about letting Sam Gash go. ``Sam Gash was one of my favorite players,'' the Patriots owner said yesterday. ``He's a tough, physical guy who was all about the team. You can't win consistently without leaders like that, guys who lead by example. You can't have guys who talk and don't perform." (Many Bills fans feel the same way Bob.)

ESPN reports: Reading between the lines, Tagliabue pretty much says that in 2002 Buffalo will be playing in the AFC East with Miami, New England, and the Jets. The key segment is here: "On realignment, Tagliabue said discussions are continuing. They basically are focusing, according to NFL sources, on whether Houston or Baltimore stays in the AFC Central with Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Cleveland. The edge goes to the Houston Texans going into the Central so that they are not in the same division as the old Houston franchise, the Tennessee Titans." This means that the Bills are out of the running for being in the AFC Central, and thus will stay in the East.

Apparently, either Marvin or some of his associates are leaking the possibility that there is a strong, and I mean strong, possibility that Lewis will be heading to Cleveland in a package deal that would include Ozzie Newsome as well.... If this is the case and I quote "Tom won't even look any farther and Fox will be the guy".' [Note: A chat transcript is NOT available to review, so buyer beware.]
