On offense, quarterbacks Kelly Holcomb and J.P. Losman will fight for the starting job. Each player has shown flashes of talent, and hopefully this will be the year one of them puts together a complete season. At least Bills season ticket holders will be able to count on a strong running game to set up the passing attack. Willis McGahee racked up 1,247 yards last year – his second consecutive 1,000-yard season – and he looks like he could breakthrough to be one of the league’s elite backs. The Bills will also look for improvement from wide receiver Lee Evans, who has picked up nearly 100 catches and more than 1,500 yards in his first two seasons. It’s not a stretch to believe that with the added experience, fresh talent from the draft and a new coach, that Buffalo fans could be looking for NFL playoff tickets this season.

And even if the Bills don’t have a great year, you can always root on the resurgent Buffalo Sabres, who after years of missing the playoffs nearly made it to the Stanley Cup finals last season. The 2006 NHL schedule is already out, so if you want Sabres tickets to see them play at HSBC Arena, now is the time to get them.
