The Sports Network reports: 'The 32-year-old Jett posted career highs in catches (46) and touchdowns (12) in 1997. He then followed that season up with a career-best 882 yards in 1998.'

Marker Veteran Dusty Zeigler fails physical; released [2:09 PM] reports: Dusty Zeigler was signed by the Giants as an unrestricted free agent on March 6, 2000, after four seasons with the Buffalo Bills. With fellow veteran acquisitions Lomas Brown and Glenn Parker, he helped transform the offensive line into an efficient, effective unit that helped lead the Giants to a 12-4 record and a berth in Super Bowl XXXV. Zeigler was voted a Pro Bowl alternate that season.

CBS Sportsline reports: The Houston Texans re-signed WR Avion Black on Friday. Black, acquired from the Buffalo Bills in the expansion draft, caught six passes for 52 yards last season and averaged a team-best 22 yards on 24 kickoff returns.

San Francisco Chronicle reports: '"It's tough not to notice the kind of season Ken's been having," Buffalo offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride said on the Bills' Web site. "One of the great things about NFL Europe is, it gives young players like him the opportunity to get game experience against quality competition, and it's obvious Ken is taking advantage of that."'
