Buffalo News reports: '"You've got to realize there's 10 other guys out there and they can take a lot of pressure off your job if you just let them do it," Carr said. "That's the hardest thing I had to learn. Coming out of college, you try to make a lot of plays and do everything yourself, but when you start getting players around you like Andre Johnson and Domanick Davis, the game becomes a lot simpler."'

Marker Holcomb is capable, but doesn't have Losman's upside [9:06 AM]
Buffalo News reports: 'The Bills might do better in the short run with Holcomb at the helm. But the best way to contend for the Super Bowl is to have one of the best quarterbacks in the league - Tom Brady, Donovan McNabb, Peyton Manning, Michael Vick, Daunte Culpepper. Are there exceptions? Sure. But it's a lot better to have a great one than not. Holcomb is never going to be in that class. Losman might be.'

Marker Even the pros get jitters before opener [9:06 AM]
Buffalo News reports: '"Then we start hydrating, getting some fluids in us, and by that time you're really cranked up and your nerves are flying, so maybe sometimes you just go out on the field and run around a little bit just to get the nerves out of you," Villarrial said. Marker Rising stars: Palmer, McGahee and Fitzgerald [4:57 AM]
USA Today reports: 'The early portion of the schedule presents a stiff challenge for McGahee and the Bills. Teams will load up against the run, daring J.P. Losman to beat them in his first year as the starting quarterback. Losman threw only five passes as a rookie and missed eight games with a broken leg. They can stack the box, but that means one-on-one coverage for (wideouts) Eric Moulds and Lee Evans. If they feel they can do it, go ahead and try, McGahee says, adding, J.P. is going to shock a lot of people.'

Marker Buffalo Bills [4:56 AM]
USA Today reports: 'The Bills, in chasing their first playoff berth since 1999, will rely on their proven defense and hope young Losman avoids fatal mistakes as he operates an offense built around McGahee. Defenses will stack the box against the run, daring Losman to beat them with his arm.'

I just kept looking at it and I kept walking around with it, and those are some of the things I want to do, veteran wide receiver Eric Moulds said.
